We were lucky to catch up with Evelyn Braxton recently and have shared our conversation below.
Evelyn , appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Thank you for asking about the story behind my coaching agency, “God Can Heal The Heart,” It’s a deeply personal journey that began with my own struggles and experiences. During this time, I turned to my faith for guidance and comfort. I began to pray more fervently and to seek out resources that could help me navigate my struggles. Through this process, I discovered the transformative power of coaching and mentorship. At “God Can Heal The Heart, I believe that everyone is deserving of compassion, empathy, and support. Our mission is to help my clients find healing, hope, and transformation, so that they can live their lives with joy, purpose, and meaning.

Evelyn , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
As a television personality, I have had the opportunity to share my personal journey with a wider audience. I have appeared on several popular reality shows, including “Braxton Family Values”. To potential clients, followers, and fans, I want them to know that my work is driven by a deep passion for family and a desire to make a positive impact in the world. Whether I am speaking on stages or appearing on television, I am committed to sharing my authentic self and connecting with others in a meaningful way.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
“In my career as a life coach and author, I have faced many challenges and obstacles. One of the most difficult times came when I was writing my cookbook, “Cooking with Ms. E.” I had poured all of my time, energy, and resources into the project, only to have it rejected by publishers and faced with multiple setbacks.
Despite this setback, I refused to give up on my dream of sharing my love of cooking with the world. I continued to work on the cookbook, refining and improving my recipes, and seeking out alternative avenues for publication.
Through my resilience, I eventually found success. I was able to self-publish the cookbook, and it went on to become a bestseller. The experience taught me that setbacks and rejection are a part of any journey, but it is our ability to persevere and keep going that ultimately leads us to success.
As a life coach, I share this story with my clients as a reminder that resilience is a key ingredient in achieving our goals and dreams. It is about staying focused on our purpose, continuing to work hard and take action even when faced with obstacles, and having the courage to take risks and try again when things don’t go as planned.”

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
“Sure, I’d be happy to share my experience in building an audience on social media. When I first started building my social media presence, I knew it was important to be authentic and engage with my followers in a meaningful way.
One of the things that helped me gain traction was working with Finesse Media Group, a social media marketing and management agency. They helped me to create a cohesive brand message and strategy, and provided valuable insights and guidance on how to effectively engage with my audience.
In addition, I made sure to consistently post high-quality content that resonated with my followers. This included sharing inspiring quotes, offering helpful tips and advice, and sharing personal stories and experiences. I also made an effort to engage with my followers by responding to comments and messages, and by collaborating with other influencers and brands in my industry.
My advice for those just starting to build their social media presence is to focus on quality over quantity. It’s better to post less frequently but with high-quality content that truly resonates with your audience, rather than posting frequently with content that is not meaningful or engaging. Also, make sure to engage with your followers and be authentic in your interactions.
Finally, don’t be afraid to seek out help from professionals, such as Finesse Media Group, to help you develop an effective social media strategy that aligns with your brand and goals.”
