The idea for Alexios Security Solutions began with a simple yet impactful cigar sit-down conversation between Antonio Guadagni and me. Picture this: two seasoned professionals in the security industry, enjoying a quiet moment, reflecting on years spent working in environments where we witnessed the same recurring challenges. We discussed our frustrations with the status quo—inconsistent guard services, a lack of focus on proactive training, and companies prioritizing quantity over quality.

Antonio and I shared a vision: We knew there was a better way to provide security services—one built on precision, professionalism, and a commitment to our clients and our people. The conversation became a brainstorming session. We were driven by the idea of creating a company that would fill gaps in the industry—offering reliable uniformed guard services, first aid and active violence training, and specialized workplace violence solutions.

What made us confident this would work? First, we clearly understood the problems businesses faced when hiring security teams. Whether corporate offices, retail spaces, or high-risk situations, organizations were often underserved or left dealing with inadequately trained personnel. We saw an opportunity to deliver something different: a comprehensive approach that combined our extensive experience, top-tier training programs, and a focus on consistent excellence.

What excited us most was the chance to redefine what security services could mean for businesses. We wanted to build trust by delivering solutions that clients could rely on day in and day out. My journey into the security and first response industry began with a moment that changed everything for me—a motorcycle accident during a group ride. A close friend was severely injured, and I was on the scene, entirely unprepared for help. In that moment of helplessness, I promised myself that I would never be in that position again. The next day, I registered for the New York State EMT-Basic program. Six months later, I became a licensed EMT.

While working full-time, I volunteered on weekends for the Central Park Medical Unit, an organization that covered emergencies in New York City’s Central Park. That experience was transformative. I witnessed firsthand the critical importance of immediate, skilled response during emergencies. It taught me the value of preparation, training, and staying calm under pressure. It was a turning point in my life that ultimately brought me to Las Vegas, where I embarked on a new career in security and first response.

Alexios Security Solutions provides critical services, including uniformed guard services (both armed and unarmed), first aid and active violence training, and workplace violence/hostile termination support. Our approach sets us apart—we focus on proactive preparation, precision, and professionalism. How’d you meet your business partner?

The story of how I met my co-founder, Antonio Guadagni, is one of those moments of mutual recognition that only happens when you’re in the same line of work. We were both on separate executive protective assignments at the same location. My vehicle was parked, and I was escorting my talent into the building. As I approached the door, Antonio popped it open, recognizing that I was a security detail escorting a high-profile client.

What struck me was the unspoken understanding between us. Although Tony and I had never met or worked together before, he knew, and I knew that he knew, that he was supporting a fellow protective agent. In this line of work, there’s a deep respect for professionalism and situational awareness, and Antonio’s simple gesture reflected both. Once my talent was secure, I thanked him and introduced myself, leaning into my best “how you doin'” NY accent. To my surprise, Antonio shot back with his own NY-style, “How u doin’,” and as they say, the rest is history.

That moment laid the foundation for a partnership built on mutual respect, shared values, and a passion for raising security service standards. Antonio and I both understood the importance of professionalism, trust, and going the extra mile—values that have since become the backbone of Alexios Security Solutions.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

The story of how we funded Alexios Security Solutions is a testament to what’s possible with determination, the right team, and an unwavering belief in your vision. Alexios started with just $300—yes, $300. Today, we’re proud to be a seven-figure company in only our second year. It can be done. The key is to partner with smart people who are experts in what they do.

Christina Guadagni, our CFO, has been the backbone of our financial success. Her guidance and leadership in finance, compliance, and administration have kept the ship sailing smoothly. With her expertise, we’ve been fiscally resilient, making calculated moves that have allowed us to grow strategically and sustainably.
