We were lucky to catch up with Eva Melton recently and have shared our conversation below.

Eva, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.

I grew up in spiritual spaces and that became the foundation of my life. Being able to observe my parent’s spiritual practices and their personal rituals engrained something deep within me. I have a natural quest for spiritual things. I love reading spiritual books because of the types of books my father would read and still does. We share books with each other even now.

I am a naturally confident and optimistic person who draws people in organically because of my light. Those attributes come from my spiritual practice which has been encouraged and supported by both my father and mother over the span of my life. They fit who I am and I fit who they are. They nurtured something in me that always reminds me God chose them for me…or maybe I chose them.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I show up as a spiritual healer specializing helping beautiful souls find new gateways to freedom and inner harmony. The people that seek me out are those who are experiencing byproducts of being conditioned by their family of origin, the culture or systems of this world. They come realizing they are looping in negative patterns and need assistance breaking the cycle. Through my natural gifts spiritually, I am able to tap into the non-physical parts of them and together we begin to lift up programming from the subconscious that doesn’t serve their true identity.

I presently see my local clients at The Olive Branch Mind & Body Suites in Birmingham, Alabama. My remote clients join me over Zoom.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I built my social media presence by focusing on two platforms only: Youtube and Instagram. Both platforms gave video a greater visibility than still images. I primarily love interviewing others around spirituality. I also realized an had a following that preferred to hear me speak solo on spiritual topics. So I engaged both audiences.

Youtube is my main platform and I used video editing software to create snippets of the Youtube video for Instagram. Instagram’s “reel” functionality allowed me to reach audiences in mass with my message and therefore grow by business.

I don’t use any gimmicks to grow my audience because customers are more loyal when they connect to you based on your message.

My advice to anyone is to be yourself. Find out what social media platform you and your audience are naturally drawn to and start there.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

I show up as a spiritual healer and my work is very innate to me. It’s connected to my purpose which drives my mission and vision in life. That connection alone allows my work to be high vibrational simply because I’m showing up in and on purpose.

I believe we are all on a journey of coming home to ourselves. With that thought in mind, I believe our physical bodies are our first homes and that deep within us resides unending chambers of our true essence. My work is centered around this truth. I am deeply in love with showing up authentically in business.
