We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Eula Amosun a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Eula, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
The biggest risk is not taking any- Mark Zuckerberg
I find that I work well under pressure or taking risk. Most business owners fail within the first five years of business. When I started in business in 2017 I scaled all the risk up front which was mostly money. I invested thousands of dollars in products and branding that when it was time to reap that risk it benefited me because I thought it out before I invested into myself.

Eula, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m a ceo and founder of a styling company. I’m a licensed Insurance agent, Author, and Counselor. I’m a women of many different career backgrounds but it’s my goal and part of keeping every aspect of my life open to improve my career and businesses.
We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
So when I lived in Atlanta I got into fashion and it was just a side job for me. But coming from a small suburban town I would bring items when I visited home which led me to having a name for myself In entrepreneurship. I was a college student with a passion for making my own money.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Not to box myself being that I have so many credentials behind my name I was always told that my business and education didn’t correlate but I realized I’m the writer of my own story and I make the rules and the money.
