We were lucky to catch up with Ethan Cole recently and have shared our conversation below.

Ethan, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you’ve thought about whether to sign with an agent or manager?

Signing with an agent and manager has been incredibly challenging and finding the right one who has Ethan’s best interest at heart has definitely been a journey however the representation that Ethan has, AEFH and Bartlett Carter Management has been an absolute blessing and we believe that we have the perfect team.

Ethan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Ethan Cole is a 17 year old young man from Durban, South Africa. It all started back in 2015 when Ethan was convinced to enter a talent competition with a vocal coach and ended up winning the competition.
Fast forward to 2016 when he was invited to attend an international convention in New York City and received multiple callbacks by agents and managers to represent him however we will still figuring out what path he was going to take and ended up attending another 2 international conventions in 2018 in Las Vegas and Disney World, Florida where he received an additional 28 callbacks from agents, managers and record labels and this is when we fully decided that this was going to be his path and career.
After realizing the demand for him as an actor and singer, we packed up our life in South Africa and made the long journey to Los Angeles, CA so he could pursue his career as a professional.
After going back and forth learning the industry, Ethan finally signed with an amazing agent and manager to represent him and we believe now that we have an amazing team who will develop and guide Ethan as well as contribute to his breakthrough and career.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

Ethan believes that working hard and putting in the effort will result in success. The most rewarding part would have to be seeing the results of your work which makes you feel good about yourself and feels very rewarding. Sitting and seeing yourself on TV feels incredibly special but most importantly its also very rewarding to inspire others.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Breaking through into the industry can be very difficult and challenging but what drives Ethan to continue doing what he does is to see himself being rewarded for his work and walking the red carpet at a Marvel premier would be the ultimate goal and he will continue to work hard until that dream becomes a reality.
