ETENG , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you share a story about the kindest thing someone has done for you and why it mattered so much or was so meaningful to you?
Well while growing up as a young boy I was made to understand that kindness is a virtue,So, when I see someone doing something of that nature it’s usually makes me happy. I was looking for opportunity to showcase my comedy talent and this particular guy took it upon himself to fight for a platform for me even without him seeing me perform before. For me that’s a privilege and an uplifting experience,
ETENG , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Well, my name is ETENG IBOR aka LOPESITO aka Mr OVASABI. Am a Nigerian American lol, am in the tech industry but I have passion for entertainment, by the grace of God I have carved a niche for myself right from my university days by doing wonderful events, and also performing in so many shows all to the glory of God. I won some awards and so on. God blessed me with so many gifts like playing the drums, playing the keyboard in church, singing, modeling, acting, etc. even right now I still find it exciting when I play keyboard in church and also making people laugh is the most exciting thing for me I even have a talk show on YouTube called MR OVASABI ZONE even on my Instagram page too .my goal is to just make people happy whenever they encounter my content.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Well, yes the goal like I said before is to see the world being a better and loving place for everyone. That’s why my content is all about love and happiness. The mission is to eradicate HATE by giving people opportunities to express themselves, bringing out the hidden talents as that can help others improve. I do believe if you have the right mindset and knowledge you can move mountains. So I believe being a comedian will prolong lives and the society at large because I keep on being funny as laughter makes the blood flow regularly and kills depression.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Basically, I think building an organic followers is generally a thing of being natural and consistent on your craft. People love seeing constructive and continuous engagement and feedback from whatever talent God blessed you with. Just make sure you have what it’s takes to build the audience. In this 21st century internet is key and people love to see creativity in action at all times. Above all don’t try to copy anyone just be YOU.
