Hi Estefany , thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with what makes profitability in your industry a challenge – what would you say is the biggest challenge?
Becoming a business owner is not for the weak. It has its ups and downs. One day you may meet your goal and the next day you may not. It make look easy but it is not. You have to make sure that you stay consistent and I believe that the consistency will show. We have a big advantage of showcasing our business via social media. We have the chance to create wether it is coming from pictures, videos, reels! You have to spend money to make money! You may be able to see it come back to you by turning it to revenue but then again you may not. It’s a chance we all have to take.

My name is Estefany Andrade and I am the owner of Fanyamour Shoetique. It is a women’s online shoetique! I sell different styles of shoes for every occasion! From heels, sandals, boots! My love for heels started since I was a little girl! I wanted heels when I was 6 instead of Barbie’s! Haha! My mother had a store front selling clothes and shoes in Los Angeles, CA. I always told her how I wanted to be like her. I loved her hustle. So she took me to fashion district where she bought stuff wholesale and told me to pick what I wanted to sell at school. I chose Hello Kitty stickers, notepads and pencils! I went back to school and sold out! I bought my first pair of shoes with that money! I have always been known for the girl with the bomb shoes! So why not share my love for shoes with the girls! That’s when I decided to turn my business into a shoetique!
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I started my business as a women’s clothing boutique. I love fashion but my passion has always been with shoes. At the time that I started my online boutique it was another 1000 women coming out with the same thing. My business was doing good but to me not good enough. I always knew where my heart was at and I did not want to let ho of something I had started so I decided to bring something that was what I loved and we did not have in the city that we live in. I started my online shoetique and it took off!!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for. I make sure that anything that I bring to my shoetique it’s of great quality. I wear my shoes everywhere no matter the occasion. I can guarantee you that at least once a day I get a compliment of my shoes and ask where did I get them from? Promote your business. I make sure that not only am J giving you a great quality shoe but also customer service. The word of mouth honestly has been the greatest thing that has happened to me. Trust me that you are inspiring somebody even if they may not say it to you directly. They are telling someone about you.!
