We recently connected with Ernso “ Avb ” Fable and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Ernso “ AVB ” thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
When I first began my music journey , I had no idea of how I’d first get my feet into the music industry. Coming fresh out of high school I had a lot of expectations for myself but I wanted to make sure I exceeded them no matter what. I took a trip to Atlanta 2019 meeting up with a few producer friends I had met through mutual collaborators online at the time. Not knowing what would come out of the trip , I just had to take the risks and trust God with how everything would pan out. Long story short I managed to get signed at the time to UCMG previously owned by Grammy Award Winning Producer Duo ( Ayo N Keyz ). The chemistry was right at the time and it just flowed seamlessly at the time . So definitely I took a chance on myself , it’s best that you go about things in life on risks because your breakthrough or destiny can be tied to it!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Ernso Fable, aka AVB, I am a Grammy-nominated/RIAA Gold Producer & Songwriter.
Born out of Orlando, Florida. I first learned about producing during my sophomore year of high school, though I have always had a passion for music since I was six years old, playing drums at my local church as a kid.
Had the pleasure of being mentored by legendary duo ( Ayo N Keyz ) those guys taught me everything I know now , so definitely want to give them their flowers . First started off in a music group called UCMG (2019) definitely my first experience being in the music industry, learned a lot from those years, most definitely help me along my journey on knowing how the business works and so forth.
That passion has given me today the pleasure of working with artists such as Queen Naija, Eric Bellinger, Mario, Rotimi, G-Eazy, Agnez Mo, and many more.
Also CEO of my new brand “ Gods Algorithm ” it’s in development as of now but basically it’s a creative community helping creatives navigate the difficulties of being a creative . Sometimes we can be in our head about things and just overall can overthink certain processes or how Culture can tell us the timelines we should be on or when we should succeed. We focus on being on our own pace and trust God through it all. It’s a marathon not a race!
As of right now , I am most proud of the new artists I’ve been helping develop these past two years , it’s given me a whole new excitement for music right now . I feel like Its been a dry spell in the industry as of lately so working with these new artists definitely is getting that excitement back! Stay tuned for sure

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn would definitely be to not compare your journey with other people in your career! Getting into the industry at 19 , it was a bit of struggle considering that it was my first time so I really had to learn to be a fly on the wall and be a student first. Sometimes we can get so carried away with “ man when is it going to be my time ” or “ if only they knew how ready I am ” those are definitely a hard reality to experience but I had to learn that your time will come when it needs to come. What’s for you will always come back to you! It’s always best to continue learning and cultivating your craft at all times even, reaching out to people who are far into their careers , those with experience/ longevity. and learn from them. You should always be in preparation before the opportunity presents itself and that was my story from the beginning. Great teachers were once students! And I’m still learning til this day.

How did you build your audience on social media?
A lot of my core audience would definitely be producers , executives , songwriters , and artists. When first starting off it was definitely just reaching out to different people to work whether it was collaborative work or just planning studio sessions. The advice I would tell those just staring to build the social media presence is don’t be afraid to show you gift/talent . Surprisedly often i wish i did content way sooner because so many opportunities come from someone just watching you in your element of creativity. Also, I would say don’t be to reach out to the people you’d like to work with but also keep in mind of your peers who are growing in the same level you’re currently in , you just never know when people with elevate. Your network is your net worth as cliche as it sounds .
