I am Ernesto Rosa, the CEO and Founder of JJ Cosmetics & Spa, where our mission is to “Build an empire of beauty” through our beauty salon and JJ Cosmetics Makeup line. Though I was born in Puerto Rico, I relocated to Syracuse, New York, at a young age and eventually settled in Florida at the age of 22.

From my earliest years, I’ve held a profound passion for beauty, particularly in the realms of makeup and cosmetics. My insatiable appetite for knowledge and my unwavering commitment to excellence drove me to help numerous beauty businesses flourish. Starting in Upstate New York, I assisted in launching multiple locations, eventually leading us to Florida.

One day, I realized my true calling was to work for myself and empower others to become successful entrepreneurs while creating job opportunities. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with several industry celebrities and participating in prestigious events like the IBS New York International Beauty Show.

At JJ Cosmetics & Spa, we offer a range of services, including Lash Extensions, Hydra Facials, Microblading, Microneedling, and more. Our unwavering passion for expansion led us to open another location in Bradenton, Florida. Our motto, “Building an empire of beauty,” isn’t just a slogan—it’s a commitment to bring other businesses along on this journey, offering opportunities for collective growth.

Manifestation plays a pivotal role in our success. By aligning our intentions and maintaining a positive mentality, we’ve witnessed remarkable revenues and achievements. As part of our expansion, we’re excited to introduce nails and hair services. This journey led us to collaborate with Anisleydis Fuentes, CEO and Founder of Anisleydis Nails Art, and Devin Washington, CEO and Founder of Marcellous Locks.

Anisleydis Fuentes, originally from Cuba, brings 12 years of nail expertise and a strong desire to provide job opportunities to others. Her passion for nails blossomed after a personal experience and has since grown into a thriving business.

Devin Washington, born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, possesses a deep passion for hairstyling, honing his skills through professional courses and amassing a dedicated clientele. His mantra, “Your hair, my canvas, our masterpiece,” perfectly captures his dedication to the art.

Together, at JJ Cosmetics & Spa, we now offer a comprehensive range of services, including Lash Extensions, Microblading, Facials, Hair Coloring, Hair Styling, Silk Press, Nail Design, Gel X, Pedicures, Manicures, and much more. What propelled me into the beauty industry was a prior job application rejection based on my appearance, which ignited my drive to make a positive difference. My determination to foster unity and success among all individuals was further fueled by an experience in a previous company I managed, where an employee was unjustly terminated due to their nationality. These experiences are what inspired me to “Build an empire of beauty.”

With the opening of our Bradenton, FL location, I am delighted to introduce Jasmine Hunter as a valuable addition to our team. Jasmine’s remarkable passion and commitment to promoting diversity in the beauty industry resonated with us, making her a fantastic asset to our family.
