Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ermia Hamidzadeh . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Ermia, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?

As a child growing up I was always into art, and really good at drawing. Once I got into my teenage years where dressing to impress women became a thing I started to fall in love with fashion and styling which lead to my interest in owning my own high end brand one day.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I started my first brand in late 2016, where I had the vision of designing for celebrities one day. At that time it was very unrealistic to most for a kid out of Houston with no connections to celebrities to be able to achieve that. Within my second year Meagan Good saw one of my designs on Instagram and her team reached out asking us to fly to LA to give her clothes and be the sponsor of her Halloween party. I believe the key to achieving all of my visions was through my level of creativity and manifestation. What sets us apart is the creativity, uniqueness, and quality of our clothes.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I’m on my third brand right now called Palm Elvn, my journey has been nothing but trial and error. From making money to losing a ton of money. Making the wrong deals, trusting the wrong people, and not having enough knowledge starting off to make the right decisions. All those situations were lessons that are now blessings to my fashion career at this stage. There are things I’ve faced that I can’t speak on yet, but I never gave up because I knew from day one I could pull it off to become one of the best designers in the world one day.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

To simply become the best designer in the world one day. To retire my mother in the next two years, and to inspire anyone else that comes from nothing and has nothing but a dream.
