Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Erin Robinson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Erin thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
I never imagined I’d become an energy healer, mentor, or teacher. This path unfolded organically, step by step, as I made choices to stay true to myself. One moment — seemingly ordinary from the outside — shifted the trajectory of my career forever.
About eight years ago, I landed what I thought was my dream job as an engineering drafter at a company I’d admired since college. Life felt “normal” again: my daughter had finished chemotherapy for leukemia and was in remission, my son was doing well, and I was grateful to be back at work.
Then, one day at my desk, an overwhelming thought hit me: This isn’t my dream anymore. I realized I didn’t want to design things on a screen — I wanted to help people the way so many had helped us during my daughter’s journey of surviving leukemia. That quiet clarity became the spark for an entirely new path.
I left the job and enrolled in nursing school. Though I didn’t complete my degree, the experience opened unexpected doors: I worked as an EMT, gaining firsthand insight into resilience and care, continued my martial arts training, and discovered certification classes in Reiki and shamanism. What began as a personal pursuit for self-healing and growth quickly became something more. Those practices and trainings awakened a sense of purpose and connection that I couldn’t ignore.
I began sharing what I had learned, helping others heal and rediscover their own light. I offered one-on-one sessions and created a spiritual support group called a LAB group — short for Life’s Anonymous Battles. Looking back, that quiet moment at my desk was the turning point. It taught me that life’s detours are often divine directions, guiding us not where we expected to go, but exactly where we’re meant to be.

Erin, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
As an Integrative Energy Healer and Mentor, I work from the understanding that everything is energy — our emotions, experiences, and the spaces we hold for ourselves and others. I help people reconnect with their inner vitality, clarity, and authenticity so they can live in alignment with their true selves.
My path into this work has been far from linear. I began in engineering, following a structured career path, but life guided me toward deeper healing and self-discovery. Long before I studied Reiki or shamanism, I trained in martial arts — an experience that became a cornerstone of my spiritual growth. The principles I learned there — balance, presence, humility, and awareness — taught me that true strength isn’t just physical, but energetic and emotional as well. Reiki and shamanic practices later deepened what martial arts had first awakened, helping me trust my intuition and work in harmony with both the seen and unseen aspects of life.
Today, I practice as an Integrative Energy Healer, Mentor, and Associate Teacher with Earth & Star Spiritual Wellness Center, a space where we welcome you Home — a place of unity, authenticity, and empowerment. Earth & Star embodies the essence of unconditional love: a warm, supportive energy that fuels our connection with ourselves, each other, and the divine. That love bridges our humanity and spirituality, guiding us as we continue to heal, grow, and remember who we truly are.
My work within this community is about tending to that light — helping others reignite the spark of unconditional love and truth within themselves. As each person reconnects with their essence, their transformation ripples outward, lighting the way for others. When we each remember who we are, we come Home together.
In alignment with this vision, I offer energy work, mentorship, and intuitive guidance to help clients process emotions, release energetic blockages, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. Each session is a sacred space for reflection, clarity, and renewal. Whether someone is navigating change, seeking direction, or simply learning to trust their own truth, my intention is to help them feel seen, supported, and inspired to live as their fullest selves.
What sets my work apart is its integrative nature — blending spiritual insight with grounded practice, intuition with structure, and compassion with discipline. I’m deeply grateful to witness how this work continues to evolve and ripple outward through Earth & Star’s growing community, reaching people all over the world. At its core, this path — and our shared vision — is about remembering who we are beneath the layers, honoring both our humanity and spirit, and walking this lifelong journey of growth together.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
If I could go back, I’d absolutely choose this path again. I’ve felt this calling since I was a child — a sense that my purpose involves helping others, even before I fully understood what that would look like. Life has unfolded step by step, guiding me through experiences like parenting, martial arts, energy work, and everything in between. Each twist and turn has brought me closer to doing the work I was always meant to do.
I view healing and energy work as a lifelong journey, not a single destination, and we continue to learn, grow, and evolve along the way. Today, being able to guide others toward their own healing, clarity, and authentic expression is deeply fulfilling — and part of that fulfillment is building a community of people who are committed to the same journey of self-discovery, growth, and empowerment.

Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
Beyond training and knowledge, the most important things for succeeding in this work are presence, empathy, and the ability to genuinely hold space for others. It comes from a deep sense of integrity and a sincere desire to serve — not for recognition or reward, but because you truly want people to feel seen, heard, and supported. It’s about noticing what’s unspoken, listening with your whole self, and showing up authentically.
Success in this field also comes from embracing the fact that healing and energy work are lifelong journeys. Being willing to learn, grow, and reflect on your own experiences allows you to guide others more effectively. Building a supportive, compassionate community of people committed to their own growth is equally important. Ultimately, success isn’t measured by credentials or accolades — it’s reflected in the trust you create, the transformations you witness, and the way you help others reconnect with their own strength, clarity, and purpose.
