We recently connected with Erin Malone and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Erin , thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My name is Erin, a kidpreneur that was diagnosed with ADHD. I opened my business on September 4, 2018, at 9 yrs. Old to inspire kids and adults with disorders that they, too, can still achieve their goals in life. My essentials serve as a reminder to believe that you can overcome and achieve anything with consistency and a positive mindset. “I AM” outgrowing my ADHD by continuously challenging myself through therapeutic approaches, healthy habits, and optimism. When you look at my essentials, I want you to remember that an 11 yr. Old sold you an excellent product that strives for greatness no matter the challenge. I want to be your positive example of hope and belief for yourself.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I have always been a very hyper kid that wakes up excited about life. I truly enjoy volunteering at different organizations with my Mother and giving back. I love sketching, playing Roblox, journaling, playing with my cats, watching reruns of “Sister Sister,” going over my Gigis to play with my cousin Stephanie, Volleyball (I won two championships), and eating popcorn, amongst other things. A few things I am working to strengthen IS my aggressiveness, effective listening, organization skills, impulsiveness, ongoing positivity when I want to flat out give up, and my self-confidence. My Mother works closely with me to help me excel in these areas through character-building exercises, consistency, focus, and optimism.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
At one point, I said many negative things to myself; I talked down about myself and gave up often when it came to all challenges. I didn’t feel beautiful or intelligent all the time either; my ADHD got to me. My Mother taught me how to do a vision board and vision journals. I learned how to create goals through arts and crafts. I then began believing in myself, achieving small goals, and speaking positively about myself. My grades increased to A/B honors, and my behavior improved in school. I also began winning volleyball trophies because my confidence had risen through my dedication. I am surely overcoming my ADHD through consistency and self-belief. I will outgrow this one day.
I will be hosting my first vision journal workshop for kids and teens throughout the summer and early fall at Garland Parks and Recreation Center. I will teach other kids how to believe in themselves and achieve goals, Just like I learned. Join me this Summer. I would love to see you guys.
We’d love to hear about you met your business partner.
My business partner is my Mother, and I’m so thankful she sacrificed her time to help make me great. When she passes on, her legacy will still live within me.

I want to thank Ireland, a sweet college student going to school for videography and being a photographer. I met her at Botanical Gardens in Dallas, TX. Her prices are so reasonable because she is still in school and she offers huge discounts for quality work. I recommend her.
