Erin, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

I’ve been a singer my entire life and music has always been my way to connect inward. But when i was a teenager, health challenges began to affect my voice, shaking my confidence and pushing me to heal my voice and body, I dove into exploring various healing modalities, I became a student and practitioner of many healing arts.

Back then, healing wasn’t “cool” or mainstream, and I struggled to see how I could turn my passion into a meaningful career. For years, I balanced corporate jobs while offering healing sessions in secret…literally back closets and under conference room tables.

In 2012, I left the corporate world behind and set out to travel, seeking deeper wisdom and a more free life. In Guatemala, I encountered the people working with the medicine of cacao, and dove into learning all I could about working with it. It also opened doors to intuitively explore vocal toning, not just as singing, but as a powerful way to move energy and transform consciousness. I noticed using the toning moved energy for people more instantly and effectively than anything else i had ever used.

Over time, my intuition guided me to center my work around my vocal frequency as the core medicine. I witnessed astonishing transformations and people sharing experiences as vivid and expansive as those induced by psychedelics, all through the healing power of sound.

This revelation ignited my purpose and birthed my healing practice, a space where sound, ceremony, and intuition come together to awaken, heal, and empower. Now, as a guide and sound healer, I am dedicated to helping you access your own deep healing and transformation through the frequency medicine that changed my life.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I offer my signature Frequency Healing and guidance sessions, both one-on-one and in group healing sessions online. I also host occasional classes and workshops, along with in-person Frequency and cacao ceremony events. I’m excited to expand into more retreats in the near future.

Clients often describe my work as “therapy on steroids,” or say, “I don’t know why it works, it just does.” What matters most is how they feel, lighter, clearer, and more aligned afterward. That’s the beauty of this healing: you don’t need to understand exactly how it works, you just need to be open to receiving it with an open heart and mind.

I work with people facing mental, emotional, spiritual, psychological, and sometimes physical, challenges (and yes, my headache track record is pretty amazing!). Sometimes one session can shift something for someone forever.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

Marketing people everywhere will hate this answer, but I have never felt to use any traditional marketing strategies. I found the more i just do good work, allow word of mouth to spread, and trusted my gut, the better my busienss has done. I say this cause if you are someone who doesnt feel good about doing traditional marketing you arent alone. i am in the business of healing so its never felt right to focus on pain points or my coaching tactics. You have to trust and feel whats right for you!

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

Originally I was focused on doing cacao ceremonies and had just a small amount of sound/music in my work. I think i was afraid to trust myself as the main event, and felt safer hiding behind cacao. But then i got dengue fever in 2016, and suffered from long term viral symptoms. I had to slow down massively for a year and couldnt travel around serving cacao like i had been before. In the healing process, the vision for my frequency sessions was born. What i found was the frequencies are so healing even for me that I found it far more energy supporting as a business than only doing the cacao ceremonies had been! Everything happens for a reason. Even the seemingly bad things. Its just redirection!
