Hi Erika, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
The biggest risk I ever took will be opening my business. In today’s market, it is very competitive. Women all over the world are doing the same thing I am. At first I would always procrastinate or second guess even starting but once I realize it’s quality over quantity things become more consistent. I don’t regret taking this risk because my brand provides not only women physical needs but also all around wellness for every women and girl.

Erika, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello I’m Erika Sellers born and raised in South Carolina. I attended the beautiful South Carolina State University. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. I majored in business management. While attending I always had an eye for a the latest trends when it came to the beauty industry. One day while in my business class I will always overhear women complaining about certain beauty products that were sold around the campus or they were upset it was always limited access to certain things because we were in a area where it’s first come first serve. I took the initiative to step up and that’s when I became the owner of Herville LLC. Herville LLC is a one-stop shop for all women of color and sizes. We specialize in 3 targets, Beauty, Hair, and fitness. Herville also is very involved in the community to help women and girls with everyday wellness. Herville is in the process of hosting more community involvement events for women health.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Herville LLC have many engagements with our customers. We connect through our social media platforms, attends local events, and even through our email subscriptions. To thank our customers, we are working on our loyalty point system for our returning customers. They will be able to receive points that will lead to many special discounts that and more!

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I had to unlearn will be rushing. I remember when I first started in 2019, I would always look at other brands comparing them to Herville LLC and rush putting out products back to back because I figured if it work for them it will work for me and I will make just as much as them because this item is popular. Oh boy was I wrong! I was Stuck with so much inventory that was not selling all because I was rushing and not taking the time to study the market and my target audience.
