Ericia, appreciate you joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

On October 25th, 2023, I lost my full-time job. I was devastated, but in that moment, I realized that I didn’t want to work for another employer again. Fortunately, I had started building my own company while working my full-time job. I learned everything I needed to know about medical billing and healthcare. Little did I know that what I was doing in my job was preparing me for what was to come.

On October 25th, 2023, I decided I wouldn’t work for anyone else, so I began marketing my company and reaching out to different third-party billers to offer help with their billing processes. Initially, I didn’t have much luck and started to doubt myself. However, I didn’t give up. I began marketing myself through fax and emails and eventually landed my first client – a laboratory that needed help with billing.

I realized that everything I had learned in my full-time job was helping me with my first client. I decided to invest in myself and began taking courses with AAPC. After passing the exam, I gained more trust from potential clients. Today, I have three clients and am working on government contracts. I share this to say, never give up on yourself. Despite seeming impossible, you can achieve your goals.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I have always been deeply passionate about making a positive impact and helping others. My journey into this industry began with a strong desire to address the challenges individuals face and provide effective solutions to enhance their lives. I firmly believe in providing exceptional medical billing and coding services that not only address the needs of my clients but also exceed their expectations.

What distinguishes me from others is my unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. I take great pride in cultivating strong relationships with my clients and the trust they bestow upon me. I am particularly proud of the positive feedback and success stories from those who have benefitted from my work. We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Building an audience on social media takes time and effort. When I first started, I made sure to post consistently and engage with my followers by responding to comments and messages. I also collaborated with other users in my niche to reach a wider audience.

One piece of advice for those just starting out is to define your target audience and tailor your content to appeal to them. It’s important to be authentic and genuine, and to provide value to your followers. Engagement is key, so don’t be afraid to interact with your audience and build relationships with them. Lastly, be patient and persistent – growing a social media presence doesn’t happen overnight, but with dedication and hard work, it is achievable.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

To keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty, I make sure to maintain a consistent and personalized communication strategy. This involves sending regular updates via email news letters, sharing relevant and engaging content on social media, and leveraging interactive tools like surveys and polls to gather feedback and show that I value their opinions. Additionally, I always take the time to respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns, and I prioritize providing excellent customer service to ensure their satisfaction. I find that offering exclusive promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs also goes a long way in strengthening the bond with my clients and encouraging repeat business.
