We were lucky to catch up with Erica Mattia recently and have shared our conversation below.
Erica, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share an anecdote or story from your schooling/training that you feel illustrates what the overall experience was like?
Throughout my schooling & training I have always followed my intuition and my heart to follow what I’ve felt most inclined to learn, and that has brought me to end up with learning and practicing in quantum biology. I feel it’s been very important to follow what feels right and watch for what opens up with that. I found it to become pretty clear what I’m most interested in as I step in the right direction and then continue to follow that lead.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I help women -especially mothers- restore their energy, vitality, and connection to self using the lens of quantum biology. I’m a certified Applied Quantum Biology Practitioner with a background in biology and chiropractic care. My work is rooted in the idea that we are energetic beings living in a rhythmic world, and when we align with nature’s light and timing, we heal.
I came into this field through personal struggle. After years in conventional healthcare and running a chiropractic practice, I hit a wall. Despite all the “right” supplements, diets, and lab tests, I felt awful-especially after having my two children. I struggled with low energy, hormonal chaos, and feeling completely disconnected from myself. The turning point came when I discovered circadian biology, and everything clicked. I began syncing my lifestyle with natural light rhythms, simplifying my inputs, and nourishing my body in ways that support its electric and magnetic nature. That’s when true healing began -not just for me, but for the women I started supporting.
Now, I help clients who feel frustrated by the conventional wellness path- especially when labs are “normal,” but they still feel off. My work blends quantum biology, nervous system repair, mineral balancing (using HTMA testing), and light-based lifestyle shifts. I offer 1:1 consulting, seasonal programs, and digital resources that support women in reconnecting to their natural rhythm, resetting their metabolism, and rebuilding their energy from the ground up.
What sets my approach apart is that I help women stop chasing symptoms and start restoring coherence -at the level of their cells, their light, and their life. We work with the body’s liquid crystalline structure, the timing of nature, and the power of simplicity. I teach women to become their own healer again, with practical, science-backed tools rooted in biology and physics.
What I’m most proud of is how many clients have told me, “I finally feel like myself again,” after working together. My goal isn’t to create dependency, but to teach people how to live in a way that naturally builds resilience, connection, and vitality -no matter their age or stage.
If someone is new to my work, I’d want them to know this: You don’t need another pill or protocol. You need to plug back into nature, listen to your body’s signals, and trust that your symptoms are intelligent. I help you decode those signals and guide you to live in sync with light, minerals, and rhythm -so you can feel truly well again.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots in my life came when I made the decision to step away from my career as a chiropractor. At the time, I had a busy practice, a solid reputation, and all the “right” credentials -but deep down, I felt completely out of alignment. I was helping people, but something in the model just didn’t feel sustainable or truly effective -not for my patients, and not for me. I was exhausted, disconnected from my own body, and sensing that the deeper root causes of chronic illness and burnout weren’t being addressed through structural care alone.
So I did something that felt radical at the time: I stepped away. I took time off with no clear plan, just an inner knowing that I needed space to recalibrate. That period was both disorienting and liberating. I stripped away the noise, slowed down, and began to listen more deeply -to my body, my environment, and my intuition.
In that stillness, I discovered the missing pieces I’d been looking for: light, water, magnetism, and the etheric field. These aren’t just poetic concepts -they’re the foundations of life itself. As I studied quantum biology, everything began to make sense. The fatigue, the hormonal shifts, the “normal” labs that didn’t reflect how terrible I felt -it was all connected to how I was living out of sync with nature’s rhythms.
That pivot completely transformed my health and the way I now serve others. I retired from chiropractic care and became certified in Applied Quantum Biology. Now, instead of adjusting spines, I help people adjust their light environments, mineral balance, circadian rhythms, and electromagnetic inputs. It’s subtle but profound -and often far more impactful than anything I did in my previous career.
That pivot taught me that sometimes we have to let go of what’s “working” on the outside to find what’s true on the inside. And when we do, we not only heal ourselves-we become the guide we always needed.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Yes, absolutely -there are several resources that have deeply shaped not just how I think about business, but how I approach life and leadership as a whole.
One of my earliest influences was Jim Rohn. His ability to distill timeless wisdom into simple, actionable principles really helped me build a strong internal foundation. His teachings on discipline, personal responsibility, and mindset were pivotal during my early entrepreneurial years, and they continue to ground me when things feel chaotic or unclear.
Later, The Surrender Experiment by Michael A. Singer completely shifted my relationship to control. It taught me that there’s a deeper intelligence at work when we let go of forcing outcomes and start trusting the flow of life. That mindset helped guide my own pivot- leaving chiropractic when it no longer felt aligned, even though it was “working” on paper.
Heart Minded by Sarah Blondin reminded me of the importance of leading with softness and intuition -qualities that are often dismissed in business, but which I believe are essential to the kind of healing work I do. It helped me return to myself, especially during moments of doubt or burnout, and it reinforces that heart-led leadership is powerful leadership.
Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman was like a gentle wake-up call. It shifted my entire view of time- from something to be managed or “hacked,” to something sacred. It helped me let go of the illusion that I could ever do it all, and instead focus on what really matters in the short, finite time we have.
That ties closely with Slow Productivity by Cal Newport, which has helped me find a sustainable rhythm in my work. As someone who values deep, meaningful work but also wants spaciousness for family, nature, and rest, his approach gave me permission to structure my business in a way that supports both impact and integrity-without hustle.
Together, these books have helped me create a business that feels more like a living, breathing extension of my values rather than a machine I constantly need to manage. They’ve helped me find clarity, spaciousness, and trust in a world that often rewards speed and doing more.
