We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Erica Cook a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Erica thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

I’m here for the woman who’s ready to break free from the masculine prison she never asked to be in.

As someone who has lived and survived through multiple forms of abuse, I know what it feels like to walk through the fires of hell, where I had to save myself, and I’ve come back to show others the way out.

I literally used to think that something was wrong with me. I couldn’t understand why I had to endure so many trials just to exist. What was it about me that made people act this way towards me?

It wasn’t until I had finally had enough that I started to make the shift. I had to stop putting myself last and start loving myself. I had to remember who I was, and that remembrance became the foundation of my teachings. I learned that while the abuse and my past were not my fault, my healing and my future are my responsibility. So, I dove headfirst into self-improvement, where I obtained my certification in Life & Relationship Coaching, Positive Psychology, and Reiki Mastery. Then I found an amazing mentor who predicted that I would be a Tarot reader, and a good one at that.

One thing for sure is that I did not have “professional Tarot reader and teacher” on my life bingo card, yet here we are.

Why Tarot in particular? Because it literally puts the power of your life back in your hands. After I completed my Tarot and Metaphysics apprenticeship, my life turned a complete 180. I realized how much of myself I was giving away and how we are conditioned to be small, quiet, and sweet. I finally allowed myself to be who I truly am inside. I use my divine feminine essence to lead my life, and it has never been the same since.

I am living the life I used to dream of and pray for.

I created Twenty2 Guru, LLC for women like me, who have forgotten their power. My mission is to awaken the Divine Feminine within, not through toxic positivity and fluffy spiritual stuff you see on social media, but with real spiritual tools, healing, and alignment that actually work. (I know this because I’ve done it and so have many of my students.)

Empowered women can change the world. The Divine Feminine is rising, and we are breaking the chains that bind.

My work helps women break toxic cycles through Tarot, spiritual mastery, intuitive development, and soul remembrance.

We are in the midst of a revolution and I am honored to lead women back to their throne.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Erica Cook. I am known as The Awakening Coach and the founder of Twenty2 Guru, LLC, and the Quantum Master Academy. Twenty2 Guru, LLC is a spiritually rooted company designed to help women reclaim their power, awaken their divinity, and master the tools to transform not only their lives but the lives of others.

This is my soul’s destiny.

After enduring a lifetime of abuse, toxic relationships, financial struggles, and a constant battle in survival mode as a single mom, I finally hit my ultimate rock bottom. I was doing everything I was taught to do as a woman, partner, and mother, but I was drowning. That’s when I made the shift. I decided that this was no longer my story. It was now or never. That’s when I turned to my certifications in coaching, psychology, metaphysics, Tarot, numerology, etc. And I let the past fall away and embraced my true divinity. What I found in that journey truly changed me forever.

You see, I always knew deep down that I had a natural ability to see what others don’t, so that I could help them, but I let others take this ability for granted. I see that women are constantly being made to feel like they need permission to exist, to hide their natural abilities, and to be small. I’m on a mission to change that.

Through Twenty2 Guru, I offer multiple avenues of empowerment, such as:

What sets me apart in this space is that I am here to empower you, not for you to be dependent on me. I don’t just teach people how to do the work; I teach them to embody their divinity. To become the person who naturally channels the universe from a place of alignment and ease. I combine ancient wisdom with modern mind-shifting work, and I teach in a way that breaks everything down so it’s easy to digest and you experience those magikal “ah-ha” moments.

I am incredibly proud of and honored to do the work that I do. I am fortunate to witness countless transformations from broken to fierce. People come to me feeling lost…and then it happens. The shift. Suddenly, they are traveling the world, opening their own business, healing from their past, and creating flowing abundance. It is the ultimate butterfly effect. This is what fuels my soul. It’s not about me being their guru. It’s about awakening the guru within them.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Building my platform on social media is kind of a funny manifestation story.

For years, I had been trying to grow my audience on Facebook and Instagram with no luck. They are not the easiest platforms for organic growth, and the struggle was real.

It wasn’t until I hit my “now or never” moment that everything changed. I decided to get serious about visualization. I had to make my business work; I had to survive, and this was my last resort. I now know that this “last resort” should have been my first step.

Every day, I would sit in my office, put on my headphones, turn on a high-vibrational frequency, and visualize. I would see myself sitting at my desk in front of a screen where I could reach a wide audience to share my message. I did the same meditation/visualization for several weeks. I didn’t specify a platform; I just focused on the feeling and intention of being seen, heard, and impacting lives.

Now, if you know anything about manifestation, you know that eventually, you will get divine sparks disguised as messages. I experienced just that. After weeks of doing my visualizations, I noticed my kids kept talking about this TikTok app, so I got curious. I downloaded the app and saw that it was fun dances and lip-syncing skits. It was the pandemic, and everything was shut down, so I thought I’d have fun with it in the meantime. I had no idea that this was the key from the universe to unlock the door of my manifestation.

A couple of months in, a video of mine went viral with over a million views and over 10,000 followers overnight. It was wild! And then something else magikal happened. My mom texted me to tell me she heard on the news that there was a “Tarot side” to TikTok.

That’s when everything changed.

I started posting Tarot content, not just readings but educational and inspirational videos to help people understand the power of the cards and other spiritual practices. My account grew to over 300,000 followers, and my business boomed to over six figures.

What I visualized had come to fruition.

I continue to post content to help, educate, and inspire people worldwide, and the feedback has been incredible. I am so grateful. I often think back on how everything unfolded in such a mysterious but easy way, and I have to laugh because that’s how the universe works! When we act as co-creators and follow Divine sparks, we can bring our visions to life.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

What has helped build my reputation in the spiritual/self-help niche is my integrity and authenticity. I have received so many comments, emails, notes, etc., that have expressed gratitude for the fact that I tell it like it is, and they can trust me. I truly care about my followers, clients, and students. I am protective of them and work to educate them against potential scams in this niche while also empowering their transformation. People appreciate that.
