Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Erica Albright. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Erica , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
At Our Dreams Entwined, the goal is to share healthy creative outlets in community through events and offerings. The words come from a song lyric from my favorite band, The Grateful Dead. The collective of inspiration behind so much in my life, music, and art.
For me, it is in reference to how we are all connected, I originally started a simple FB page to share myself & my friends services, art, music, wares, etc ( as I am one who shares, promotes, cheerleads all the great and good things & people in my life. ) I decided the name Fit perfectly for the business I am dreaming of. .
Erica , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hello folks :) I am Erica, I am Grateful to be part of your interview process here, thank you so much !
I’m the face and the voice of my services, Our Dreams Entwined & Earthshyne Albright Productions. My children and I do the works behind the scenes for EAP.
I believe most would say they love that I offer authentic human connection, the authenticity of a passionate soul, It’s so important to show up as myself so that others may do the same, this is how we can help one another the most!
My goal is to help as many people as I can find the tools they already have within to grow into their best self and to shine their light in this world. through fun, food, music, movement and wellness –
In my reiki & Pranic healing practices, yoga & SEL mindfulness & mediation, all of my works are trauma aware/informed.
I intend to be a safe space. For you. For me. For all of us. As someone who works in the music industry as well as wellness community, I love how these things correlate, making dreams come true.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
I love in person events, festivals, pop ups and more, I get connected to many folks through word of mouth, social media, fliers and networking.
I’d like to also note that I offer distance healing sessions through videos or audio call, I am Happy to work with anyone, anywhere. I would love to hear from you. Let’s heal together. I’m accepting new clients as I grow this dream into what it’s meant to be. People can email OurDreamsEntwined@yahoo.com
to start a line of communication, see where it leads.
I’m seeking investors, sponsors for events and small business support.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Change, the only constant. This has been a big learning experience for me, “go with the flow”.
Initially, when I filed my articles of organization as an LLC, I had the intention for ODE to become a nonprofit organization. I want to bring all of these amazing offerings to those in need. After a few months seeing some roles were not fulfilled in a way that felt right in my heart, I switched gears to keep the LLC with a plan to be of service all the same.
I will continue my mission, the mission is to help create and maintain happiness in the individual that ripples both inward & outward.
For “kids” of all ages to know joy.
I will also continue to give back to the communities we are part of and beyond.
The last couple of years have been a huge shift in my personal life, as well as professional life, this has reflected in my works and services, in great ways!
I am graciously a work in progress, never giving up, taking the “I’ll figure it out” route. I hope to inspire others to find their way to believe in their own magic.
