We were lucky to catch up with Eric Sattler recently and have shared our conversation below.

Eric, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?

I feel success can be in many forms. Not all success is financial, for some success is the ability to provide for your self or family with the ability to set a schedule suitable for your lifestyle.

Eric, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m Eric Sattler. I’ve lived in Austin, Texas my entire life. I grew up in the music scene, and it’s where I learned to love filmmaking.
I’ve worked with tons of amazing artists over the years—from local hip-hop groups to music legends like Nick Cannon and Johnny Dang—and have seen my work featured on networks like SPOT[e] Network and Zoom TV. But I’m most proud of winning “Videographer of the Year” at the 10th Annual: Austin Hip-Hop Awards!
My company’s name is NVision Films. We specialize in strategic videos with a cinematic feel. Our moody vibes have been the trademark for our brand since 2009. My production crew and I have worked on sets including Walgreens, Soldiers United 4 Da Cash (Dj Screw Movie), John Lennon, The world-famous Bert’s Marketplace​​​​​​​, Nick Cannon, Johnny Dang, Z-Ro and Curtis Young (dr. dre’s son)
My goal is to keep ideas in vision—and now that you know about me, you can see why it’s important for me to work with people who are just as passionate about their work as myself.

At the moment we are currently working in the NFT space. We have a cannabis company called Cannalife Culture Co. The NFTS are utility based that focus on an exclusive access to the cannabis industry.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Facebook groups honestly. Alot of what you are searching for can be found in them. From being a client or searching for clients, there are quite a bit of resources that are overlooked.
