We were lucky to catch up with Eric Holley recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Eric thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

The project I’m working on is called “Standing on Business” it features Gucci Mane Lil Wayne Twista Rick Ross( on Instagram not on Apple music version) Lil Flip Obie Trice Tboss And D4L. The album took 90 days to complete production by me @513cpbaby, Anno Domini nation.com, legion beatz, sinister,c-mal kevin fuller AKA traffik, and more.the Star studded album was digital collaborations from the biggest stars and producers with Ohio’s very own CP BABY (features provided by coasttv)

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I got into the industry in 2003 by signing with on impact entertainment with my brother R.O.N and brother in law Row Mane Lettuce 🥬 and Donte Payne.I started out being a rapper and in house 🏠 producer. After parting ways with the company I started reaching out to various companies and artist like Coast 2 Coast mixtapes IHP and magazine Hip hop weekly Stardom 101 magazine Mr dreamz magazine Ohio vs Ohio 411uncut this only happens in Ohio dabus614 distrokid which expanded my company Starpower ent to 150k streams and 209 million Free downloads I provide jewelry studio time magazine placement digital collaborations and production for me and my artist at my company the thing I’m most proud of is my 150k streams in my distrokid account to sell records is a dream come true

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Stream and download there music and podcasts Apple 🍎 music is only 10$ a month for unlimited streams and downloads I pay it every month and download everything from Lil Wayne to Czar nok Hi Tek and more

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I was featured in the 90k Hip weekly magazine with a company I have business with called Coast 2 Coast mixtapes in 2011. In 2013 I reached out to the them about doing a collaboration with me with my brand @513cpbaby and they were down. The Hip hop weekly print up 800k magazines every two weeks.that means I was featured in 1.6 million magazines which rolled over to my social media in Hundreds thousands via Facebook (Eric Holley) Instagram X and LinkedIn that was pivotal point in my career is
