We were lucky to catch up with Enzo Fiore recently and have shared our conversation below.
Enzo, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
My second country single, titled “Two Bits”, just dropped August 18th, 2023. This project, along with my first single “Down Home”, are really important to me because these songs represent a full circle moment in my life. Growing up in a small town with country roots, I always had country in my blood. I still remember the first time I heard “Fly Over States” by Jason Aldean on the radio. Everything about country always resonated with me, because it was the type of life we grew up on. After performing other popular genres for a years, I finally came back to my roots…and launching my country career feels like I’ve come home to where I belong. I am beyond excited to start sharing my stories with the world, and getting the opportunity to show people who may not have grown up like I did, what country is all about.

Enzo, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi! I’m Enzo Fiore. I am a country singer and songwriter and I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts.. a little town called Kingston. I think growing up in a small town like Kingston definitely gave me a leg up.. because when you grow up in a place like that, you watch everyone around you live their whole lives there..but then there are people like me who can’t wait to get outside those town lines. I moved out to LA when I was 15 to act in some projects, and then I ended up staying. You can take a boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of a boy. I always knew I’d find my way back home in the form of country music, and all of the timing is perfect. I can’t wait to share all of this new music I’ve been working on with the world, and take you all along for the journey.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding thing is the ability to connect through my music with a random stranger across the country or the world, who may be going through something, and being able to have the opportunity to be that singer or to write that song that can help them through that situation. It’s crazy what music can do. Whenever I go through something, music is always what helps me see the light. To be able to do that for someone is beyond rewarding.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
I love this question.. because it recently happened in my life. Moving to LA, I was exposed to a lot more of the city culture, ie hip hop music, trends, influencers etc. I did pop music when I was younger… then hip hop, and now in a kind of full circle moment, I’m back to what I grew up on – country music. Being able to make hip-hop was so much fun, but I always had a feeling of inauthenticity with my image and my music. It just wasn’t me… but I knew music was my calling. Then I realized… people have been telling me I should do country music for as long as I can remember, but I never took it seriously. It wasn’t until I took a risk and decided to go all in, that I realized country music is exactly where I should be, and where I can make the best possible art to share with the world.
