We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Eneida Mascetti. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Eneida below.
Hi Eneida, thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?
Yes and No. I wanted to be an actress all my life, yet I stated acting after retirement.
Perfect timing

Eneida, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
As I mentioned before, I wanted to be an actress all my life. My parents on the other hand had other plans for me. They wanted
me to get a collage degree. After graduation I got married and put
all my acting dreams aside until I retired.
I found myself with a lot of spare time in my hands after retirement.
Without thinking twice, I enrolled myself in a modeling and acting
school. Six months down the line and way before my graduation, I was
already represented by an agency. I have been doing this for six years now.
I still take classes and workshops to help me refine my skills,
Besides all the satisfactions that I have found in this new career, I think the one
thing that makes me happier, more fulfilled and proud of myself is been able to
inspire people ( Young and old) to follow their dreams. To make a commitment with yourself
,to work hard , to be reliable, to be consistent ,to persevere and to not take NO as a rejection.
And to all Seniors, I have to say…. There is much more after retirement, than sitting down to read a book.
There are lots of new opportunities and exciting things to do. Shine, let everyone know we are still alive
and there is a lot we can contribute to this wonderful world.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Love been able to portrait different characters in different situations. Situations totally different from your real life or what you feel comfortable with.
And most importantly; always appreciate the love and admiration of the fans, friends and family that follow and support my journey.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My mission is to help people my age to be seen. We do not want to be pushed around and be told our lives are over after 60. Not anymore, that is.
It is actually just the right time to start something new. We have all the time in the world to be creative, We can learn a new sport, learn to play an instrument, learn a new language, start a new business or even a new career. (as I did)
We are at an age where we value every chance we get to be productive and express creativity and even establish new trends.
Silver is here to stay… just saying😂
