Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Endia Moné. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Endia , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
The name “SongBird” holds a special place in my heart, inspired by my beloved mother. Growing up, she would affectionately call me “SongBird” because of my pleasant vocals that brought joy to those around me. Her encouragement and love for my musical talent inspired me to create a company that not only honors her memory but also spreads that same joy and creativity to the world.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Endia Moné, Singer, Song-Writer, Recording Artist, and now the Founder/CEO of SongBird Entertainment. At SongBird Entertainment, we are dedicated to record production and distribution for high-quality music, offering premier vocal services, and creating stunning graphic designs for your music and business needs. Our mission is to nurture talent and help artists reach their full potential, just as my mother always believed in me. Breaking into the music industry is no easy feat. It’s a world filled with challenges, fierce competition, and constant change. As an artist, having talent is just the beginning. The path to success is paved with hard work, resilience, and strategic decisions.
That’s why ownership and self-management are crucial. By owning your music and managing your career, you maintain control over your creative vision and business decisions.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
As an artist, my journey began with a passion for music and a dream of sharing it with the world. Early on, I relied heavily on others to propel my career forward, trusting industry professionals to guide me. However, I quickly realized that this dependency often left me feeling powerless and unsure about my future.
The turning point came when I decided to pivot and take control of my destiny. I immersed myself in learning the intricacies of the music business, from production and distribution to marketing and rights management. This transformation wasn’t easy, but it was essential for turning my passion into a profitable and sustainable career, which I am currently growing.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Working with other local labels, artists, and producers has been instrumental in gaining recognition in the music industry and building a solid social presence and a positive reputation. These collaborations have allowed to pool talents, resources, and networks, creating a powerful synergy that elevates everyone’s work.
