We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Empress Pre a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Empress, thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t change the timing of when I started my creative journey. Everything unfolded exactly as needed, aligning with my personal growth and life experiences. I officially began my creative career during a pivotal moment when I felt a deep calling to use my voice and experiences to empower others. At the time, I was navigating significant personal challenges, including health struggles, and rediscovering my purpose. This fueled my passion for creating platforms like Letz TalkQ, where authenticity and healing could take center stage.
Starting sooner might have meant less life experience and fewer stories to draw from, which are the foundation of my work today. Starting later, on the other hand, might have allowed me to approach things with more resources and stability, but it could have also delayed the incredible connections and impact I’ve had along the way.
Looking back, I see how every obstacle, every triumph, and every pause led me to where I am now. It’s a journey I wouldn’t trade because it’s given me the ability to connect deeply with people from all walks of life. The timing was imperfectly perfect, and that’s what makes it so meaningful.
What I’ve learned is that it’s never about when you start; it’s about starting when your soul is ready and trusting that the rest will fall into place.

Empress, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Love and Light, I’m Empress, the visionary founder of Letz TalkQ and the nonprofit organization currently in the works, The Empress Foundation. My creative journey has been shaped by a deep passion for storytelling, empowerment, and building community. I specialize in creating safe and inclusive spaces where individuals can share their stories, heal from past traumas, and find strength in their journeys. My work spans podcasting, event curation, nonprofit initiatives, and collaborative creative projects—all aimed at fostering unity, growth, and resilience.
I first entered the creative industry through podcasting. My flagship podcast, Letz TalkQ, was born out of my desire to inspire others by embracing authenticity and healing through open dialogue. As someone who has faced significant life challenges, including navigating my health journey with lupus, I’ve used my platform to turn pain into purpose. These experiences have fueled my mission to provide a voice for the voiceless and create a ripple effect of healing and understanding. This mission continues with my upcoming podcast extension, Letz TalkQ: My Health Journey, where I share my personal story and encourage others facing similar challenges to find strength and support.
Through Letz TalkQ, I offer podcasts and digital content that amplify real stories, encourage self-discovery, and promote mental and emotional well-being. The Empress Foundation, my upcoming nonprofit initiative, expands this mission by aiming to provide essential community resources like mental health support, education, childcare, and programs for youth and unhoused individuals.
I also collaborate with organizations like Mile High Tumblers 5280 and Athletics & Beyond, leveraging performance arts, athletic programming, and mentorship opportunities to uplift inner-city youth and their families. My creative work includes crafting engaging productions and events that leave a lasting impact.
What sets my work apart is its authenticity and deep-rooted purpose. I don’t just tell stories; I create opportunities for healing, connection, and transformation. My platforms are intentionally designed to celebrate diversity and unity while addressing real-life struggles with compassion and candor. Whether it’s through a podcast episode, a youth tumbling event, or a community project, I strive to foster a sense of belonging and hope.
I’m most proud of the resilience my journey has required and the impact I’ve made by turning challenges into opportunities to serve others. Seeing my vision come to life—whether it’s children performing with pride for their community or listeners finding solace and strength in my podcast—is what keeps me motivated.
At the heart of everything I do is a desire to uplift and inspire. My brand is about more than just creativity; it’s about building bridges, finding common ground, and helping people feel seen, heard, and valued. If you’re looking for a community that embraces you for who you are, a resource to help you grow, or content that speaks to your heart, you’ll find it here.
Whether through Letz TalkQ, Letz TalkQ: My Health Journey, The Empress Foundation, Mile High Tumblers 5280, or Athletics & Beyond, I’m committed to creating meaningful, transformative experiences. I want my audience and collaborators to know that their stories matter—and together, we can build a stronger, more resilient community.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Absolutely. The driving goal of my creative journey is to empower individuals and communities to embrace their authentic selves, heal from past traumas, and discover strength in their personal stories. I aim to create platforms and opportunities where people feel safe, heard, and valued, fostering unity, growth, and resilience.
At the heart of everything I do is a deep commitment to community building and transformation. Through Letz TalkQ and its extension, Letz TalkQ: My Health Journey, I strive to amplify real stories, spark meaningful conversations, and inspire hope. My mission is rooted in the belief that shared experiences can bridge divides, foster understanding, and create lasting change.
With initiatives like The Empress Foundation, my goal expands to providing tangible support for disadvantaged communities through mental health resources, youth programming, and essential services for the unhoused and other vulnerable populations. Similarly, collaborations with organizations like Mile High Tumblers 5280 and Athletics & Beyond align with my vision of uplifting inner-city youth by creating opportunities for empowerment through performance, athletics, and mentorship.
Ultimately, my mission is to spark a cycle of healing and empowerment that ripples through individuals, families, and communities, leaving a legacy of hope and resilience. Whether it’s through creative expression, advocacy, or direct action, my goal is to inspire others to find their voice, share their truth, and build a brighter future together.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the ability to connect with people on a deeply personal level and witness the impact of shared stories. There’s something profoundly fulfilling about creating spaces—whether through a podcast, an event, or a community initiative—where people feel seen, heard, and valued. Knowing that my work can inspire hope, foster healing, or ignite a sense of belonging in someone’s life is truly humbling.
As a creative, I get to transform ideas and experiences into something tangible and meaningful. Whether it’s through the authentic conversations on Letz TalkQ or the empowerment programs I help build with The Empress Foundation, I see creativity as a bridge that brings people together and sparks transformation.
What I cherish most is hearing from someone who says, “Your story gave me courage” or “This project made me feel like I wasn’t alone.” Those moments remind me that my work isn’t just about creating—it’s about making a difference. It’s a reminder that art and creativity have the power to heal, connect, and leave a lasting legacy of resilience and hope.
