We were lucky to catch up with Emmanuel Carré recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Emmanuel , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

I knew that I wanted to be in the entertainment industry when I was a kid , I loved when I was the center of attention. At family dinners, events at school or just with my friends.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Emmanuel Carre also known as call me manny. I got into the entertainment industry, when I was 12/13 years old u was watching YouTube videos and I was so amazed by these people’s ability to make me laugh through a screen. And I told myself «  I can do that too ». The service is say I provide is laughter, if you want a good time ! Come to my comedy shows you won’t regret it! What sets me apart from others people doing the same thing and I say that with all the respect, is that I can relate to everyone. From every background and I’m really happy about that. My goal is to entertain the world, and to do that I have to be relatable to a lot of people ! The thing im most proud of is definitely my discipline and work ethic, of not giving up and that’s what I’m trying to show my followers as well , with discipline and drive and a clear vision you can make it happen !

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Yes , I want to show the world but also kids of my background, that anything can happen. No matter where you from , if you have a dream, you gotta keep working hard and have faith. I am born in Africa Cameroon , raised by a single mother , life hasn’t always been easy. But knowing where I’m coming from I know I can’t give up !

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

It’s the feedback man , it’s the laughters ! The energy ! After a show when I see people telling me they had a good time .. it makes my day more than anything else. Or when u see people quoting what I said in a skit in the comments, I’m happy because I know they are paying attention to my storytelling
