We recently connected with Emily John-Belingy and have shared our conversation below.
Emily , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
At a very young age, I realized life is so much more than achievements for me. it’s about what we as individuals give to ourselves and others. There’s so much more we can give, for example, our time, empathy, listening ear, connection , kindness, compliments, etc .
With this realization, i studied social work, and when I decided to be a salon owner /hairstylist, I wanted to bridge the gap and not just offer a service to consumers but an avenue also experience.
At naturally kinky curly haircare haven salon I facilitate persons with all hair types my mission is and always was to provide a safe , clean environment that is socially friendly and respectful for clients to relax and unwind even if it’s just for a few hours . But also addressing the needs of my clients seeking healthy haircare service and knowledge also helping them understand their hair individual needs whilst providing adequate product knowledge.
Lastly, naturally, kinky curly haircare haircare haven salon is a safe space for everyone .
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

For me would be referrals my existing clients .they speak so highly of me and my abilities as a multicultural hairstylist and also when prospective clients see my clients hair they would ask and my clients would always refer persons.
If you have multiple revenue streams in your business, would you mind opening up about what those streams are and how they fit together?
