Alright, Emily thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
When I was young watching my sisters and people dancing in videos it just made me want to explore my talents
Emily, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Emily Im a dancer from the Bronx that grew up dancing in school and watching Michael Jackson Ciara etc dance and I just wanted to be a dancer and I wanted to become a celebrity just dancing growing up . Dancing became an outlet for me like dancing was a stress mechanism like it made me want to distract my mind with the craft and talent I had so I won’t be stressing myself with reality .
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect is meeting artist and networking around and getting recognized by people you don’t think watch you it’s more so inspiring and motivates me to keep going
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience on social media by just keep posting my art and never stopped and because I was doing video with certain celebrity’s is just boosted people wanting to see my talents . My advice to people that’s trying to build an audience on social media is to post as much as you can and be confidence in what you pushing out to the world never give up
