We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Emily Bobb a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Emily, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Have you ever seen (or implemented) a really awesome way to show a client you appreciate them
The best thing I’ve ever done for my clients is consistently going above and beyond to show them that my work is about more than just business, it’s about building real, lasting relationships. I always want my clients to feel seen, valued, and appreciated because at the end of the day, they could have chosen anyone else, but they chose to trust me to represent them. Whether it’s in the sale of their home or the purchase of a new one. That’s something I never take lightly.
One example that stands out is when I secured a listing in West Orange, one of my favorite towns to work in. After meeting with the sellers for the initial interview and officially landing the listing, I stopped by my favorite local bakery, picked up a box of fresh baked goods, and dropped them off with a handwritten thank-you card to show my gratitude. The gesture meant so much to them that they requested the same treats again on closing day, it became a sweet little tradition.
It’s those thoughtful touches that I believe make all the difference. Whether it’s a surprise gift card when we go under contract, or simply keeping the lines of communication open long after the deal is done, I always strive to remind my clients that I’m not just their real estate agent – I’m their friend, and I’m here for them every step of the way.

Emily, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who may not know me yet HI! I’m a licensed real estate agent based in New Jersey, and I’ve been in the industry for over five years now. I specialize in helping buyers, sellers, and investors navigate the real estate market with confidence, whether they’re looking for their dream home, selling a property, or building wealth through short-term rentals like Airbnb.
My journey into real estate started with a deep passion for helping people and an even deeper love for homes, design, and the idea of creating generational wealth. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a calling. I knew I wanted to be more than just a salesperson. I wanted to be a resource, a guide, and someone who truly made a difference in people’s lives during one of the biggest financial decisions they’ll ever make.
What sets me apart is the way I blend business with heart. I don’t just see my clients as transactions. I see them as people, and I take pride in creating experiences that feel warm, thoughtful, and deeply personal. Whether that’s a handwritten note, a sweet treat from a local bakery, or simply making myself available at all hours to answer their questions, I make sure my clients feel cared for every step of the way.
Outside of real estate, I also create content on TikTok where I share insights on the market, lifestyle tips, and real talk about success, wellness, and faith. I’m passionate about self-improvement: emotionally, financially, and spiritually and I strive to lead a life that inspires others to elevate, too.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me and the impact I’ve made in their lives. I want potential clients and followers to know that when you work with me, you’re getting more than just a real estate agent you’re getting someone who genuinely wants to see you win in life, in business, and at home.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my presence on social media by leading with authenticity and intention. From day one, I made a commitment to show up as my true self sharing content that genuinely speaks to me, not just what’s trending. I focus on delivering value, being relatable, and creating a digital space that reflects both who I am and the kind of clients and community I want to attract.
Rather than trying to appeal to everyone, I’ve been intentional about building a brand that resonates with people who align with my energy and values especially those interested in real estate, lifestyle, and self-development. That clarity has helped me grow a highly engaged audience that connects with me on a personal level, not just as a content creator, but as a professional they trust.
As a result of staying true to my brand and providing consistent, quality content, I’ve been able to grow my TikTok following to over 28,000 followersand that reach has opened some incredible doors. One of the highlights has been landing brand sponsorships, including a partnership with Chase, which was a major milestone for me.
These opportunities are a direct reflection of the brand I’ve built by focusing on authenticity, consistency, and purpose. Whether I’m sharing real estate insights, personal experiences, or lifestyle tips, I always aim to make sure my content feels meaningful and aligned and that’s what keeps people coming back.

Staying in touch with my clients is easy! thanks to the power of social media. I’m genuinely so grateful for what these platforms have done, not just for my business, but for the relationships I’ve been able to build and maintain even after the transaction is over. Social media has completely transformed the way I connect with people. It’s allowed me to stay present in my clients’ lives long after closing day, whether it’s by celebrating their milestones, checking in, or simply sharing content that keeps us aligned and inspired.
What’s even more amazing is that the majority of my clients actually found me through Instagram or TikTok. So by the time we meet in person, it already feels like we know each other even if it’s technically our first face-to-face. That familiarity creates a strong foundation of trust and comfort, which I believe makes the entire process smoother and more enjoyable.
Social media has truly bridged the gap between business and genuine connection, and for that, I’m forever thankful. That’s how brand loyalty is built: through authentic connection, consistency, and showing up with value before, during, and after the transaction. My goal is always to create an experience that’s so personal and positive, clients want to come back, refer their friends, and keep rooting for me
