We were lucky to catch up with Elziata Aniusheva recently and have shared our conversation below.

Elziata, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

It takes time first of all. I believe it’s essential to give yourself time. Success doesn’t happen overnight, it requires patience and the understanding that growth takes time. Flexibility and resilience are crucial, especially since the world is constantly changing. It’s important to build a strong inner foundation and trust in yourself. This self-reliance helps you navigate through challenges and adapt to new situations.
The other day i saw one Blogger was telling about the Chinese bamboo tree. And i think this is a great example. For the first few years, it doesn’t grow at all above the ground. Instead, it focuses on developing a strong root system. Only after several years of nurturing it suddenly shoots up to impressive heights. This illustrates that the groundwork we lay, even when progress isn’t visible, is vital for future success. Building a strong inner foundation and trusting in yourself helps you manage challenges and adapt to new situations, ultimately leading to sustained success.

I am Elziata Aniusheva, the owner of Wonder Party Florida. Originally Wonder Party was established in DMV area by my soulmate Laura and her partner Anna. Wonder Party is an event design and styling company. After i had left the corporate world, I had a few opportunities to work with girls and that was love at first sight, moreover i was always enjoying organizing the parties for my kids. Soon i moved to South Florida and was offered to become a partner of Laura and Anna.
And just like that Wonder Party Florida is an at-home event design and styling company that specialises in picnics, sleepovers, glampouts, chill-zones and movie nights in South Florida. We will transform your space into something magical, outstanding, and personal because we believe in creating an atmosphere that makes your special occasion a party no one will ever forget.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

One lesson I had to unlearn was the belief that success only comes from a traditional career in a large company. Not so long ago my husband and I together with our 3 kids moved to US from another country where I had built a solid career over ten years in a global company.

However, starting my own business—an event design and styling agency — made me realize that success can take many forms. I faced new challenges and had to learn everything from scratch. Through this journey, I discovered that creativity and adaptability are just as important as professional experience. My business has not only become a source of income but also a way to express my ideas and inspire others.
Now I understand that success is about embracing new opportunities and finding joy in new beginnings, besides it integrates various aspects of life that contribute to overall well-being and fulfillment. Family, self-love, friendships, hobbies and physical health form are the pillars of sustainable and meaningful life

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

When I moved to a new country I knew it would be a big challenge. I had to help my kids adjust to a new place while also dealing with a new culture, lot’s of paper work and setting up daily life. Despite the difficulties, I was determined to create a new life for us.

When I started Wonder Party Florida, it pushed me out of my comfort zone. I have to take on many roles in my business, from marketing to managing events. This is new for me, and it feels overwhelming at times.

I am still developing my business, it’s far from where I would like it to be. To succeed i need an agile mindset and resilience, which i had already developed through my past expirience. I am connecting with local communities immersing myself in thier culture to understand my Customer better. I am attendeding events, meeting other business owners, and listening to what clients wanted for their celebrations. Building these connections helps me become more local relevant and closer to my customer
Every day is bringing new challenges, like overcoming language barriers and learning local business customs. But my resilience helps me keep going. I see each challenge as a chance to grow and remind myself that progress, no matter how small, is a victory.
