Eloisa, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Has Covid resulted in any major changes to your business model?
I lost my father to Covid on January 1st, 2021. He was my best friend and biggest supporter. In that same year I decided to rebrand my business after 10 years of being in business as Eloisa’s Cleaning Services is now Diamante Cleaning Elite Pros.
Losing my father to this horrible virus changed my life completely. The world as I knew it started to change, the people around me. I knew that it was necessary and that it would help me in the long run. Making the transition was emotionally hard on me personally and on a my business as I knew I would have to let all my clients know of the name change and al other changes that were taking place. Getting back on social media as a new name was has not been fun. I felt as though I had a period of time where I had “writers block”. My ideas were no longer coming to me like before. It’s when I realized that I had not allowed myself to mourn my father’s death. I then started my spiritual journey which led me to where I am now.
It’s been a healing journey. Healing past traumas, forgiving myself, accepting what I cannot change and embracing the women I am now.

Eloisa, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a single mother of 3 beautiful girls. Growing up I always knew I wanted to do something for myself, be my own boss if you will. The circumstances in which I grew up in were not the best, having two full time working parents. I knew I wanted more.
After High School I would babysit for extra money to pay for my college education. Child development was my minor and took a liking to working with children. My plan was to teach. Then it all changed when my mother decided to retire her housekeeping jobs. She came to me and told me she was going to hand over her clients which at that point she had about 15 reoccurring customers. That’s when I decided that I was going to start a business. Mind you, I had zero knowledge on how to start a business. That is where my journey began. I came up with a logo, the color scheme for the logo and uniforms for my employees. That was about 15 years ago. I have remained consistent in providing the best service in the greater San Fernando Valley ever since.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
My business has been referral based. I take pride in that. Building a bond based on trust and commutation is key. It is important for me that my clients feel that they are getting the best service possible, and that they are being heard when they have questions or concerns.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
