We recently connected with Elliott Jackson and have shared our conversation below.

Elliott, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.

BLAST Media LLC creates opportunities for artists, comedians, movie producers and entertainers to showcase themselves to the world without breaking the bank to do so. The Brands we create BLAST {blastmusic247.com), IndiePulse Music Magazine (indiepulsemusic.com) Blastradio247,com and our BLAST Media Network Podcasts are designed to help independent artists with promotion, showcasing, interviews, airplay and more. Streaming has become both a blessing and a curse, Platforms like Spotify are not really designed for the independent artist. Once their music is on the platform its totally up to the artist to promote it. It’s literally like trying to find a drop of water in the ocean, their music can get lost and impossible to find. We are changing that dynamic in he next few months and leveling the playing field for serious independent artists.

Elliott, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My business partner (Troy Saha) and I started BLAST Media LLC during Covid in 2021, our goal and mission is to change the Music Industry One Artist at a Time. My name is Elliott Jackson and I am the President/CEO of BLAST Media LLC. We are an entertainment and media company designed to help promote, showcase independent music artist, comedians, movie makers and entertainers. We created BLAST (blastmusic247.com) in 2021 as our primary HUB to showcase independent music artist. This service was free to all artist {still is if Freemium is selected}. Artist are required to register create their stage (Bio, Photos, Songs, Videos and optional Social Media Links). Artists and fans can share their music an entire stages on the social media and fans can do the same. We were powered by Social Media in the beginning but we wanted to provide more opportunities for the artists to be seen and heard, Enter BLAST Media Networks. BLAST Media Networks create Podcasts that showcase the Artists and allow fans to meet them, speak with them and get to know them. You can find us on YouTube @ BLAST Music 247. We then needed a radio station to further showcase the artists so we created BLAST Radio 247 (blastradio247.com). To round out our company we needed a Music Magazine. We were good friends with the owner of IndiePulse Magazine and for personal reasons he wanted to sell the magazine and we were happy to take it on. IndiePulse Music Magazine was the final building block we needed and the independent artists will continue to get their just due.

How’d you meet your business partner?

My co-founder and Vice President, Troy Saha, and myself met while attending the Art Institute of Dallas. We quickly became the best of friends and soon after created our own Rap Group. One of the craziest stories from the time was one when we had to do a show in Waco, TX. The show just happened to be on the same day as the siege on the Branch Davidian Compound. When entering Waco we could see all smoke from compound as the Davidians and the FBI raised complete Hell. It was a terrible sight but turned out to be one of our best shows.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

When we started BLAST Media LLC and created our hub website, BLAST, Troy and I were determined to be in this for the long run. we knew it would be a long process to insure everything we wanted for the business to come to fruition, We started with music because there are more musical artist in the world than ever, However, many artist are gun shy because they have been screwed over by promoting companies claiming they can do thigs they cant do . Our tagline is “Changing the Industry One artist at a Time” and we are committed to doing just that. This means we have to think outside the box, create platforms that are innovative and most of all focus one the artists rather than their money, It takes patience to change an industry and even more to change a mindset,
