We recently connected with Ellie Rodriguez Litt and have shared our conversation below.
Ellie Rodriguez, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
My company name, “Little Cosas”, emerged from a dream.
After months and months of brainstorming and attempting to incorporate my identity within the brand, Little Cosas came to me in a dream. The dream was short, and I was presented with a simple phrase. This phrase, “Little Cosas” (or, Little Things, in English) incorporated my married last name “Litt” and sprinkled in some Spanish to pay homage to my Cuban upbringing.
Little Cosas perfectly represents what I create. I hand carve one-of-a-kind stamps for makers, businesses, events and personal life. These stamps add pizzazz to whatever they grace. Whether it be to brand your business packaging, to stamping your birthday or wedding envelopes, the only limitation is your imagination.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Ellie Rodriguez Litt and I am the owner & creator behind Little Cosas. Little Cosas is an online, custom stamp company that helps makers brand their products and packaging in reusable ways.
I began printmaking in 2008 while in college at the University of North Florida. Since then, it has been a hobby and interest that I never put down.
At the start of the pandemic in 2020, I noticed a huge uptick in emerging businesses with a need for custom branding. I started offering my printmaking services to carve logos that businesses could reuse on their shipping items. Beyond custom logo stamps, the big hits were the stamps I carved that said “Fragile”, “Do not bend”, “Made by hand” and return address stamps
What sets my business apart from others, at least in the South Florida area, is that I am the only company that hand-carves stamps to your specifications. Over the last few years, my business has grown to include laser-cut stamp options, however, our hand-carved stamps remain our best seller.
I want my future clients to know that they don’t have to throw away their money with stickers and branding collateral that will end up in a landfill. They can order a custom stamp from Little Cosas and re-use that stamp on a variety of surfaces like: paper, wood, leather, plastic, metal and more! It is an extremely unique touch to brand your shipping materials or products that you sell.
You can check out our website for a variety of items such as: ready-made stamps, prints, and laser-cut goodies. You can follow us on Instagram or TikTok to see our latest projects and if you’d like to place a custom order, you can e-mail us directly. I answer all of our emails and take pride in making sure your requests are heard and orders are completed in a timely manner.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
It can certainly be a daunting task when you create your new instagram (or any social media) account and see ZERO followers. But, everyone starts there.
I made a commitment to myself and the company I was building to post as consistently as possible and show up in an authentic way. I am by no means an “influencer”. Actually, when I started Little Cosas, I was a middle school science teacher. I would post process videos, final product images every other day and encouraged my friends and family to repost to their social channels for me. This helped me reach people that would normally not view my page.
What really started to grow my instagram was when I started posting “How To” tutorials. I would make quick videos responding to frequently asked questions in relation to printmaking. “How do you transfer your image?” “What tools do you use?” “What do you need to start printmaking?” were just some of the topics I covered. Our audience really loves to see short-form videos, whether it be the process of carving a stamp or a quick “how-to tutorial” and I think that is the direction that social media is going: short form videos. Long are the days of just posting a picture. Additionally, your audience wants to learn who you are and get a glimpse into your life. So don’t be scared to hop onto an Instagram story to say hi and show your face. Even if it feels strange.. do it!
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is using my skills as an outlet. I find it to be very therapeutic when carving a stamp because it forces me to slow down and focus in on the details. Printmaking is not for everyone. It is an extremely slow-paced medium. This is great for me though, because I feel as though my mind is constantly running 1000 mph. So slowing down is a welcome feeling for me.
