We were lucky to catch up with Ellie Mae Smith recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ellie Mae , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My mission is to writer and perform in content that makes people feel good.

Ellie Mae , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I have always loved writing. I remember when I was a little kindergarten I would write stories on the back of my worksheets. As for acting I’ve always loved preforming for my friends and family. I started doing theater and film when I was nine years old and have loved it ever since.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
In this industry you have to have really thick skin. You will get 100 no’s before you get one yes. Something that helps me not get discouraged when I don’t get a role is that it wasn’t that my audition was bad it was just that I did not fit for the role. I also always say that getting the callback/audition is a great success in itself.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I think that one of the best things actors and writer can do is learn from our peers. I love watching video giving tips and insights from experienced professionals.
