Discovering my Psychic Abilities
Many people have asked me how I came to realize my psychic abilities. The answer to that question is a complex one, as it involves a deep exploration of my personal history and the circumstances that shaped my journey. Growing up in an open-minded family, with a mother who learned palm reading from her uncle at a young age, laid the foundation for my psychic development.
The connection between my mother and me is profound. We share a striking resemblance, speak alike, and resonate energetically on the same wavelength. Throughout my childhood, we often joked about living parallel lives, and as we both grew older, this connection became even more apparent. When I was a little girl, during moments of distress or resistance to taking a nap (which often coincided), my mother would gently glide her index finger down my third eye. At the time, I didn’t fully comprehend her actions, but I now understand that she sensed my heightened sensitivity and overstimulated third eye. To this day, I find solace in calming myself by tracing my own index finger along my third eye.
As I established my own business over the years, one of the most frequently asked questions has been, “How did you discover your psychic gifts?” Truthfully, the presence of psychic abilities has been a recurring theme in my life. Growing up with my gifted mother and being exposed to the holistic practices of my father’s side of the family, I always sensed that something extraordinary was unfolding within me. My first vivid psychic memory occurred around the age of three, while watching the television show Wheel of Fortune with my mother. Approaching the screen, I confidently exclaimed, “Give me a T!” Miraculously, my words aligned with the contestant’s turn, prompting Pat Sajak to respond, “There are seven T’s.” I distinctly remember my mother bursting into laughter, while I marveled at the illusion that the people on TV were conversing with me. I often wonder how long I held onto that belief!
Being a psychic child presented numerous complexities. I gravitated toward adults rather than my peers and struggled with fitting in. During the 1990s, diagnosis of A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. were prevalent, and I, too, was labeled with various terms. However, thanks to my father’s holistic background, I was fortunate not to be prescribed medication. In many ways, I am grateful for this decision. While contemporary society has embraced terms like empath, spiritual, and new age, acknowledging these aspects of one’s identity, such recognition was scarce when I was growing up as a psychic or empathic child.
I possessed a wealth of extraordinary experiences and encounters, often defying the odds and appearing in the most improbable situations. My parents, concerned about my mental well-being due to the influence of doctors and therapists, began to view me through the lens of mental illness. After hearing the same diagnosis repeatedly, one starts to internalize it. For an extended period, I believed that managing and navigating my mental health and stability were imperative to avoid ending up in a private facility, on disability, or facing trouble with the law.
It wasn’t until my early twenties, when I ventured out into the world on my own, that my psychic gifts began to emerge more prominently, relentless in their pursuit of my attention and acknowledgment. The way I met people and still meet people is always a crazy cosmic story. Looking back I realize how connected everything really is and was for me. My life is truly serendipitous.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am born and raised in Los Angeles. I come from a family of gifted people in many different ways. When my father was in his youth he would meditate and not need novacaine at the dentist. My mother just simply “knows things”. I am born and raised in Los Angeles and come from a family of gifted people in many different ways. When my father was in his youth he would meditate and not need novacaine at the dentist. My mother was taught to read palms at a young age by her unce and honestly sometime I think she just simply “knows things”.
2023 Marks year number 11 that I have been running my intuitive business full time. I am so grateful I get to do what I love and have it support me completely.
Realizing I was a psychic person unfolded through a series of events that occurred overtime from my childhood through my early twenties. Eventually it became apparent that this was what I was going to be doing for the rest of my life.
From Los Angeles to Maryland
After professionally reading for about 4 years, my childhood best friend introduced me to some young women on social media who would go Live and promote their small store. She told me they were talking about psychics and I should go on and read them.
I absolutely went for it and boy did I not know what was next but God/the Universe definitely set me up on this one.
I read these women in real time in front of their community in their small town. It was a profound moment for everyone. I started to build my relationships and reputation with them and eventually they invited me out to come feature at their tiny store.
I honestly don’t think they thought I would come, but I bought my ticket and flew out to this tiny little town in Maryland called Rising Sun. 6 months later I ended up packing my things in Los Angeles and drove accross the country with everything I owned in my father’s old SUV and drove accross the country.
I spent almost 4 years in Maryland and made a name for myself. I built my business and helped a lot of people. Eventually I became a big fish in a small pond and I knew something was going to change again.
The Covid Catapoult that brought me to Charelston, SC
When Covid hit (like so many small business owners) I was genuilely fearful my business wouldn’t sustain. An acquaintance of mine asked me if I was interested in a Graphic Design position at the company she worked for. I hadnt worked for anyone in almost ten years, but what many people didn’t know about me was that I have a degree in Fine Arts and a passion for graphic design for entrepreneurs.
Long story short, I applied and got the job. That job was located in Charleston South Carolina. I worked remotely for 3 months, came for a visit and fell in love with Charleston. I knew when I visited the first time, that I would move her permanently. 3 months later I packed up my things and moved. I told the owner of the company that they ould hve me for a year and then I would come back to what God/The Universe meant for me to do. I worked as graphic designer for a year and loved it, but I also knew it was just a little stepping stone to a bigger picture.
Moving to Charleston has been the best decision of my life! I am looking forward to being able to influence this beautiful city and help as many people as possible to grow, and flourish and heal.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Other than my experience in my field, I find that my knack for small business truly benefits me the most. As I have leveled up in my career, I have connected with other talented people who struggle with the business end of things. You can have all the talent in the world but if you do not have the grit and knowledge in small business to turn your talents into a sustainable business then it can be extremely difficult to turn your talents into more than just a dream.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Testimonials are everything in holistic and client based business. It takes some time to cultivate feedback but when I did my business doubled and now has almost tripled.
People are more likely to hire you through referral and testimony than a person that pops up when they searched for your services on the internet.
