We recently connected with Ellie Aaron and have shared our conversation below.
Ellie, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
When I first started my business as a yoga teacher and health coach (prior to the business I have now where I teach women in the wellness space how to grow to six and seven figures) I hated sales. Like, with a passion. I thought sales were all about manipulating people. I thought sales = slimy salesman who only wanted your money. (This is what we’re taught about sales in general!) But I LOVEED what I did in my business. I loved helping others feel better.
The problem was that I was an underpaid yoga teacher living in NYC who loved bougie organic matcha lattes. I was over-worked, and I neglected my finances…which was especially hard living in NYC. So, I made it my mission to learn how to do the whole business part of my business…not just keep getting more and more certifications and training around my craft.
This is something that many people in the wellness space struggle with…they think that if they become really good at what they do that the money will reflect that. Unfortunately this is not the case. You can be the best at what you do – but if you don’t know how to sell your services (and enjoy doing it) no one will buy…and no one will get the healing benefit of your work…but I digress.
So… I went on a journey – and for years I focused on learning the SKILL of selling and marketing. Eventually – I learned from a mentor that changed everything for me. He taught me that selling was about helping people transform their lives. And…that if I had something that could help them, selling to them was an act of LOVE. Boom… everything changed for me. I went from being an underpaid yoga teacher and health coach to cracking my first six figure year, while helping many people heal and feel well in their bodies. And since then… I’ve made it my mission to help those that help others through their work fall in love with the art of soulful selling.
Here’s the thing… selling gets to be fun. It gets to be something you ENJOY doing vs. dread doing. It gets to be an expression of your purpose. After all…people pay attention to what they put their money towards. So…when you sell something that’s of BENEFIT to others – you are giving them a gift by selling to them. You are helping them direct their attention to helping themselves in some way.
The first part of my work is helping the women I work with remember how important their work is, and how it changes lives. This is the most important piece. From here – selling becomes a natural byproduct and expression of their mission and purpose.
Of course selling is a skill…but the intention of where the sale comes from makes all the difference in the experience of selling itself. If you don’t learn to enjoy selling…eventually you’ll stop doing it and get burned out. I help you enjoy it again. I help you feel that selling is helping. (because it is!) while growing your business in a way that feels good.

Here are 12 THINGS ABOUT ME to get to know one another 😍
1️⃣ I was born in NY but grew up in Israel till I was 7 years old! We moved around for my dads work + I speak Hebrew fluently.
2️⃣ I’m a relationship nerd. I’ve read books on relationships, studied relationships + taken courses on relationships.
I can talk about relationships all day and night. 😂
I also believe this is the single most important factor in long term happiness + true fulfillment.
3️⃣ I LOVE teaching heart centered + purpose driven women how to *sell* their services.
I’ve taught women business owners, teachers, coaches who thought they’d *never* enjoy selling ➡️ to falling in love with sales 😍 and helping them reach launches of up to 15-62K+ and create CONSISTENTLY higher income months.
4️⃣ One of my greatest joys in life is my relationship with James. (My fiancé). We just got engaged in April!
He’s my sacred mirror for all the things 🤣 my love, and the way we support one another is a blessing.
5️⃣ My favorite food in the whole wide world is pasta. 😋 Give me all the forms of pasta (spaghetti, fettuccini, ravioli, etc!)
6️⃣ I’ve closed over a million dollars in sales as a higher ticket closer (and more!). Selling is something I never thought I would do… I thought it was sleazy, gross, and manipulative. 😬
But NOW? I believe it’s one of the greatest tools of transformation we have to give to others.
Sales is a deep service…it’s not something you do to another – it’s something you do FOR them. 🙏
7️⃣ I studied Tibetan Buddhism and meditation for over a decade + have gone on multiple long meditation retreats.
It’s a practice that is very near & dear to my heart. 💕
I also taught yoga for over a decade.
8️⃣ I believe in the power of coaching, therapy, having a mentor, joining masterminds, and getting **support** in the areas of life that you want growth in. 🙏
*Everything* I’ve created that I’m proud of (health, beautiful partnership, financial growth) has been because I’ve gotten support and invested in myself.
9️⃣ I prefer the woods/forest to the beach. 🌲🌳 I have 21 plant babes I take care of in my home.
1️⃣0️⃣ I’ve gone through my fair share of fears, doubts, shame, anxieties, sadness.
I’ve learned that when I love myself MORE and simply FEEL these sensations and energies — healing happens. 💕
1️⃣1️⃣ One of my dreams is to be a mom one day. There’s a sense I get that I’ll be a REALLY great mom.
1️⃣2️⃣ I believe the most important quality we get to cultivate as humans is the power to *CHOOSE*
The *choices* we make every single day to create the life experience we want is up to *us*
Life is not something that happens TO us.
It happens **through** us. 😘

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
The greatest thing I’ve done on social media is share who I am (unfiltered), celebrate my wins, and talk about how I help people and what I believe. People are literally always moving through challenges…so if you help people in the area of finances, relationships, health (The major areas!) chances are someone you know is struggling in those areas – start talking about your viewpoints. What you believe about what you do.
For example – if you’re a health coach – what are some beliefs you have about that area? What are some key principals you can talk about? What’s your truth? When you share what you believe and do it authentically – people WILL begin to listen. Share how you’ve helped your clients. Celebrate your own growth and achievements. A lot of people are afraid to brag or share what they’ve created…However -when you share what you’ve created you show others what’s possible. Do this more and more and watch people start to notice you, hire you, and follow you!
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Definitely the fact that I’ve closed a million+ in sales my first two years in the business space! I went from being a newbie business person to scaling the company I was with, FAST.
