We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Elle Vatel a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Elle, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Has your work ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized?
I have always been so careful to label myself in public and especially even in a personal regard ; as it was traumatized into me throughout my child and teen yrs that I will always be negatively perceived immediately without fail by my worst abuser yet most important imprint of my life

Elle, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Elliana Vatel but my pseudonym is Uggiebbyboy; “Uggie” signifying my aura and destiny to become, “Bbyboy” signifying the innocence of the nonbinary identity i am transitioning into. I am a black queer neurodivergent disabled nonbinary therian of PLUR… reclaiming my livelihood and choosing to spread my compassion and trauma healing journey with other like minded souls in our corrupt society.
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
I share this to be transparent. Decolonization is mental & intellectual metaphorical masturbation if we do not invite & co-create radical transformation. Prevent rude judgement of things you are unaware or unsure of by simply changing perspective to find that subject matter of intrigue rather than from a place of hate and fear. Thoughts and feelings are not who you are or even reality for the most part. It’s how you respond to your thoughts and act upon your feelings that tell you and others who you are. allowing yourself to feel empathy for even the “worst” of society is so much more important than people think it is. it’s harm reduction. empathy fosters understanding, understanding fosters healing, healing prevents harm and tragedy. I think anyone can be helped or “saved”
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I despise the fact that I’ve been groomed multiple times to be so high functioning… It’s the foundation of my own self gaslighting of my mental illness severity. We can’t learn a lesson in the present, we must have faith to learn and apply it later after healing from the moment of weakness. Faith is to remain calm and Godly. A person who respects themselves will respect other people. From the youngest age of being able to process my reality: I decided to force-feed myself experiences & pain = sped run being an innocent child to abusing my mind & body in becoming an “adult” to learn everything, then just die off quickly as an “efficient” means of living a life pros: made me who I am to this second = proud, confident, thriving, emotionally intelligent, very experienced, in love, healthy, compassionate cons: pre-Baptism: vulnerable, manipulated, insecure, abused, scared, groomed, exhausted, broken, self-deprecating, toxically lashing out THEREFORE Reclaiming my identity, sexuality & childhood traumas to forgive and allow myself of a new level of hypersexuality & sheer appreciation of any&every thing has truly freed my soul & mind from the shackles of shame & fascist brainwashing that only limits, controls & destroys: love
