We recently connected with Elle Taylor and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Elle, thanks for joining us today. Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?
As an entertainer self promotion is key the more you are visible within your community and hold your craft the easier it is to find jobs over the years I have worked around the world performing for audiences it is through my dedication and persistence that I have been able to continue doing this for 18 years and see no signs of stopping

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I started off at a young age in dance class and then moved into Theater I fell in love with the two it was only fitting I put the two together and create my on stage persona of Elle Taylor performing over the years has taught me many things about myself and created a journey for me to fall in love not only my career but with myself and to be honest with the person that I truly am and I’m proud to say that I am still an Entertainer and a trans woman and couldn’t be happier
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me the most rewarding thing is getting to do something I love and through that spread joy and happiness to others and gives me a platform to speak about issues that need to be brought to others attention
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
In the world that we live in today there are people who spread Hatred in gossip and have this idea that entertainers, drag queens ,female impersonator‘s and the LGBTQIA+ community have an underlined agenda and that just isn’t the case we are just like everyone else working our jobs living our lives making it through the Mundaneness called life that consumes. So the next time you spread hatred towards this community ask yourself “why” what’s the real reason Is it what you believed, or is it what you were taught because their truth of the matter is someone close to you it’s probably going through a life change and it’s too scared to talk to you about it because of you’re outwardly spoken Views on the LGBTIA+ community
