We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Elizabeth Regal a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Elizabeth, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
I feel my artistic entertainment journey has been an unexpected winding road of unforeseen decisions, obstacles, and life-transforming choices. Every project I have worked has been a devout blessing, as most give up within the first year to two living in Los Angeles, it wasn’t until I was in Los Angeles for 20 years that I reflect now and thank every producer, casting director, and director that has given me a job. All were deep learning experiences that transformed me from within.
It wasn’t until a few years ago I set foot on a new breakthrough that I felt new transformation rich with newfound wisdom, accomplishments, failures, and experiences that led me to my career niche and reason for being on this planet. The clarity I have now is nothing of which of had when I was soul searching in my youth literally lost in translation…lol.
My current projects I have in the world are by far more meaningful than any I have tackled thus far. Why? It’s due to being of service to humanity as I currently witness a calamity of systems faltering and old ideals disintegrating. The projects going forward I tackle must make a deep impression on society, educate, and make people think. I tend to favor what Russell Brand did and speak the truth regardless of what others think. Its deeply concerning on the aggressive mainstream push of heavy social media censorship. The Online Safety Bill in the UK is being heavily pushed, as it will soon collaborate with Ofcom to regulate free thinking, free speech platforms as Rumble affecting Russell Brand and countless others.
I am working on a highly intellectual truth-telling online channel with ongoing content to dazzle the minds of the masses with concepts not uniquely discussed and often highly censored. To move the masses to think outside the box and act against injustice and senseless wars are a pertinent goal. Thank God what Elon Musk has done with the transformation of Twitter in the platform X. I am excited to delve into long-form video on there and monetize! Many of my comments and posts have gone viral with over 100,000 views on a handful of topics. I would love to mesh that element of investigative research into documentary and theatrical films. I am well involved in the masonic community and being of charitable service. A couple of my masonic brothers want to soon launch the Southern California Masonic Film Association with donating a portion of all film proceeds to a specific charity. We spoke of launching this 5 years ago and now is the time to move on this.
Elizabeth, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Currently, my focus is more a methodical God centered spiritual direction in my work. In the current event of the volatile situation with the heated Hamas-Israeli war, we are rapidly progressing into WWIII. In my opinion, we are already there and have been since the pandemic started. The mainstream media, television, film, music, news always reveal many years in advance on what’s to come, as it has alluded to this coming wars for years.
Many are not aware of the hidden subliminal messaging in the media that topple on the brink of predictive propaganda. The television series and online presence I continue to hone and develop with cover this aspect of marketing and programming in the media. I truly feel our global society has been sitting under the mesmerism of mainstream propaganda that many like Russell Brand speak out about.
It is pertinent I create a more positive educational tone to my content and films. It has been since the 1950s and 1960s that news and media really becoming more and more fear based fading out into the wilderness of mass confusion and dehumanization. If our society does not wake up to that fact that we are being directed down a certain path, our reality we reside in we will soon arrive at a point of no return. Pope Francis has recently expressed of the urgency in the aspect of Global Warming publicly, where are fast approaching a “point of no return.”
We have diverted far beyond living within the natural physical and spiritual laws of the planet. As a result, avoidable problems as natural disasters, toxins in foods, seemingly planned pandemics, illnesses, Human trafficking, Institutional racism, Geopolitical wars, declining education, obsession and addiction to high radiation smart phones, gender dysmorphia, etc. have taken center stage.
It is about waking up in this new age to come and taking full responsibility, less victimhood. Humanity is sitting on insurmountable potential that is being diminished under the lines of institutional power and greed. It is seemingly all a personal choice how we spend our time and the direction the system goes. Every one of us does have choices of whether to comply on one-sided terms with seemingly no other options. I intend to create content and information that free humanity into a place of higher education and personal freedom.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
You know this is a great question! There are many aspects of how I approached my career I had to change. It is easy to get caught under the lens of distorted reality, image, and fear of speaking out. For 15+ years of my career, I was deeply centered around people-pleasing and neglecting my own voice. It was a societal norm in Hollywood to fit into a system that was not simply truthful or real. As an artist, I was rewarded for that aspect instead of being more open and real. Exhibiting business etiquette is always a must, but sincerity is seemingly impossible if one wants to work in this industry. It is like a game of chess moving across the checkerboard darting around one challenge and loophole after another.
As a youth when I arrived, I walked on eggshells in fear in offending someone, saying the wrong thing, being what that director or casting director wanted that I lost a sense of authenticity in my work and character. It was not until years later when I became more networked, knowledgeable, confident in myself, and did deep inner work that I found my authenticity.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
To see a 20+ year journey in Los Angeles come to fruition. I have received several awards, and press interviews, and. inspired many on my journey. Passing the torch and making a difference is the most satisfying of any aspect of the journey.
