We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Elizabeth Montejo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Elizabeth, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
**From Adversity to Success: The Inspiring Story Behind Elibell Productions**
It all started during a pivotal stage in my life. I was going through challenging times due to a divorce and had become a single mother. At that moment, I felt the need to reinvent myself, to create something new and meaningful for my future and my daughter’s.
In the midst of my healing and personal reconnection process, I discovered something valuable: I had a natural talent for serving and connecting with people. I was always the friend who organized every detail at gatherings and parties. I loved seeing everyone enjoy themselves and made sure everything ran smoothly.
One day, a close friend asked me to help plan her wedding. That was the first time I thought, *If she sees this potential in me, it must indeed exist.* That moment sparked the desire to prepare myself and give my best. I enrolled in event planning courses, earned professional certification, and gradually built the confidence needed to embark on this new journey.
Curiously, my friend never got married. However, I’m convinced she was the catalyst who pushed me to take action and believe in my abilities. Thanks to that experience, *Elibell Productions* was born—a dedicated agency specializing in event planning, coordination, and execution.
From then on, clients started coming in, many through referrals. I quickly realized my mission extended beyond organizing events: I wanted to alleviate my clients’ stress, offer them peace of mind, and make them feel they were in good hands. My focus has always been to provide clear strategies and constant support, allowing them to enjoy the process worry-free.
Today, at *Elibell Productions*, our priority is to bring tranquility and peace to those who wish to celebrate special moments but lack the time to plan them. Every event we organize is an opportunity to connect, create unforgettable memories, and, above all, serve with excellence.

Elizabeth, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I founded Elibell Productions in 2021 with a clear vision: to create memorable experiences that exceed every client’s expectations. As an event planner and professional coordinator, I specialize in organizing unique events, from romantic weddings to corporate gatherings. I ensure that every detail, from the initial planning stages to the final execution, is meticulously handled so that everything flows seamlessly.
Starting this journey as an entrepreneur hasn’t been easy, especially since I had no prior business background. However, I’m incredibly proud to have stayed the course, learning and growing with every challenge. Each event has taught me the importance of dedication, creativity, and genuinely connecting with my clients’ needs, and I am still learning.
At the heart of Elibell Productions lies the commitment to offering peace of mind and confidence to those looking to celebrate life’s important moments. I don’t just plan events—I create experiences that reflect the dreams and essence of every individual or company. Persisting on this path has been more than a professional achievement; it’s a testament to how passion and determination can overcome any challenge.
At Elibell Productions, we don’t just organize events; we transform ideas into unforgettable realities.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
I deeply believe in the transformative power of education. Throughout my journey, I’ve learned both independently and from other professionals who have significantly influenced my growth. Some of the books that have been instrumental in reshaping my mindset and approach to this business are:
The E-Myth Revisited by Michael E. Gerber: an essential guide for understanding how to build a strong business instead of simply working in it.
Event Planning and Management by Ruth Dawson and David Bassett: a valuable resource offering practical tools and strategies to master event planning and management.
Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker: this book helped me transform my relationship with money and develop a mindset geared toward financial success.
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie: a timeless classic that taught me the importance of human connections and how to build meaningful relationships in the professional world.
These books have not only enriched my perspective but also become fundamental pillars in my personal and professional growth.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Like any business, there are highs and lows, and constant challenges that test your resilience. The world of events is incredibly dynamic, where unforeseen circumstances can arise at any moment. I’ve faced situations that required quick thinking and effective problem-solving. These experiences have not only taught me how to manage my own emotions but also how to support my clients emotionally, ensuring they feel calm and reassured. Additionally, I’ve learned to view every challenge as an opportunity, trusting that everything happens for a reason and ultimately leads to a greater purpose.
