We were lucky to catch up with Elizabeth Gerald recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Elizabeth thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

I’m Elizabeth Gerald, the President of mjgmovement, mjgm is a 5013c not for profit, I started in honor of my daughter, marcie Gerald, who died by suicide as a result of a brutal sexual assault.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

Well mjgmovement is a not for profit organization, i started in honor of my daughter marcie Gerald, she died by suicide as a result of a brutal rape, loosing a child is one of the hardest things a parent can go through, so instead of sitting, around, letting myself, scramble down, I turned my pain into my purpose, and,decided, to keep her legacy alive.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

My beautiful daughter marcie Gerald, was sexual assaulted, at age 14, she, suffered from PTSD and depression, I did get her counseling, but the court trial ,was alot,the monster who attacked her, never showed any remorse, I had to learn how to Compose myself,I wanted to, hurt that person, but I had to stay calm,for my daughter sake, a year after my daughter rape, she took her life, that was the hardest day of my life, so instead of letting him win, I turned my pain into my purpose and started MJGMOVEMENT, I haved I doctors I can refer people to, I’ve helped over 200, women with children, get housing, we feed homeless families, for Christmas of 2022, we gave out, toy’s, coats,clothes, hats,gloves,shoes, food,to over 2000 families.. I teach our clients, that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and they have Limitless opportunities to be great.

Can you share one of your favorite marketing or sales stories?

Well I have a coloring book, children’s books, comic book, working on the second comic book, we had to put out videos, of the comic book, to market it,I now have a documentary on Tubi, it broke records, its now being shown,in several countries, I have people from all over the world ,reaching out to me ,telling me their stories, and how I helped save them.
