Hi Eliza, thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

Success can be defined differently for each individual, as it is subjective and can encompass various aspects of life, such as personal fulfillment, career achievements, financial stability, or making a positive impact on others. Here are some factors that are often associated with achieving success:

Clear Vision and Goals: Successful individuals often have a clear vision of what they want to achieve and set specific, achievable goals to work towards.
Passion and Perseverance: A strong passion for one’s work or purpose and the ability to persevere through challenges and setbacks are key traits of successful people.
Continuous Learning and Improvement: Successful individuals have a hunger for knowledge and are always seeking ways to improve their skills, expand their expertise, and stay up-to-date in their field.
Taking Risks and Embracing Failure: Taking calculated risks and being willing to step out of one’s comfort zone can lead to new opportunities and growth. Moreover, seeing failure as a learning experience and using setbacks as motivation to improve is essential for success.

Eliza Shabo, a gifted fashion photographer, originates from Ukraine but now calls the vibrant city of Los Angeles, USA, her home. Notably, she is the proud owner of a successful photo studio in the enchanting city of Krakow, Poland. From the outset of her fashion career, Eliza’s exceptional work has graced the pages of prestigious international magazines, including L’officiel, Cosmopolitan, Vogue and Lucys, among others.

Photography weaved its way into Eliza’s life long ago, and the exact moment of its entrance remains a pleasant blur. Nonetheless, her passion for this art form has remained unwavering throughout the years, fueled by her profound appreciation for beauty and serenity. An equally compelling drive emanates from the captivating essence of women, and their mesmerizing allure always finds its way to Eliza’s lens. This enduring love for her craft and her ability to capture profound beauty in her images continue to be the driving forces behind Eliza’s inspiring creative journey.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

Over the course of a decade, I have accumulated a huge experience in the industry. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with an extensive range of clients from diverse fields of activity. From clothing brands to cosmetics brands, and from lawyers, judges, doctors, actors, dancers, to singers, I have worked with a broad spectrum of professionals.

This diverse clientele has provided me with a valuable network, and I am aware of the support and advice I can seek from my clients whenever needed. Building such a wide-reaching network has been a great asset to my career, fostering opportunities for collaboration and growth.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Photography is a medium for connecting with others, building relationships, and fostering understanding across cultures and boundaries.

My aim is to capture my unique perspective on the world and convey emotions, stories, or ideas through my photographs.

Ultimately, the creative journey in photography is often fueled by the sheer enjoyment and passion for the art form. I find joy and fulfillment in the process of capturing images and in the act of creation itself.
