We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Elishia Ortiz. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Elishia below.
Hi Elishia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
I wanted a name that felt feminine, strong, and rooted in purpose. Adira means “strong, noble, and powerful woman,” which deeply resonated with me because so much of my work is about helping women show up boldly, share their voice, and grow their brands with confidence.
As a content creator, strategist, and community builder, I’ve worked with all types of clients but my agency has always had a soft spot for empowering women-led brands and founders. Choosing a female name was intentional. Adira isn’t just a name it’s a reflection of the strength, creativity, and leadership I strive to bring to every project, no matter who I’m serving.

Elishia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, I’m Elishia Ortiz, the founder of Adira Digital, a boutique social media agency, and the creator of HERMVMT, a women’s networking community built to empower creators and entrepreneurs. I’m also a content creator, strategist, and event curator with a deep passion for helping people show up online in a way that actually feels like them—confident, magnetic, and aligned.
I got into this industry over 10 years ago, starting in marketing roles across tech and nonprofit organizations. But it wasn’t until I left a relationship and moved to Seattle to reset my life that I fully stepped into entrepreneurship. What started as a quick visit to clear my head turned into the launchpad for everything I have now: a growing agency, a real community, a healthy relationship, and a creative life built on intention.
Adira Digital was born out of that transformation. I named it like I would name a daughter—Adira means “strong, noble, and powerful woman.” While I work with all kinds of clients, Adira has always been rooted in my love for helping women-led brands and purpose-driven founders grow online with content that connects and converts.
What We Do:
We help brands stand out online by offering:
Done-for-you content creation (Reels, UGC, influencer-style video)
Social media management & monthly content calendars
Strategy glow-ups (Fractional CMO, brand messaging, launch plans)
Content Day events where we script, shoot & edit a month of content in one day
Live workshops teaching entrepreneurs how to use AI + automation to simplify their content and sell more confidently
Event marketing & creative direction for branded activations and community-led experiences
Our focus is always strategy-first. We don’t just make things look good—we make them work. Whether we’re building out a Reels funnel for a real estate agent, shooting BTS content for a wellness studio, or launching an influencer campaign for a tech brand, we bring big agency expertise with boutique-level heart.
What Makes Us Different:
We blend storytelling, strategy, and systems to help you grow without burning out. From ManyChat automation to social listening tools to aesthetic shoot direction—I’m obsessed with giving my clients a whole content ecosystem, not just a one-off post.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
Honestly? The community I’ve built. HERMVMT started with a simple meet-up and now hosts sold-out content days, coworking events, and connection-driven gatherings for women creators and founders. Watching women walk away feeling more confident, supported, and seen—that’s everything.
Also, the fact that I’ve been able to scale a business that lets me travel, create, and work remotely while supporting clients I truly believe in. It’s the life I once dreamed of—and now I get to help others create that for themselves too.
Final Word:
Whether you’re just starting out or scaling to your next level—I want you to know you don’t have to do it alone. My work is about helping you show up online in a way that actually feels good—and gets real results. If you’re ready to elevate your brand with content that tells your story, attracts aligned clients, and grows your business—let’s connect.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My advice for anyone just starting to build their social media presence? Start messy, stay consistent, and focus on connection over perfection. You don’t need fancy gear, a huge following, or a perfectly curated feed to show up and make an impact.
Start by getting really clear on who you’re talking to and why you’re showing up. Then create content that feels like a conversation, not a broadcast. Share your story. Show behind-the-scenes. Give value. Let people feel you.
Also batch your content and use tools (like AI, templates, and schedulers) to save your energy for the parts that really move the needle: building trust and showing your face.
And most importantly? Don’t wait until it’s perfect to post. You learn by doing, not by planning in Canva forever. Show up as you are, then refine as you grow.
You’re not just building a presence you’re building a brand that people connect with. That’s where the magic happens.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the biggest moments that tested my resilience was when I left San Diego after a tough breakup last year. I had built a life, a network, and a comfort zone there but deep down, I knew I needed a fresh start. I booked a one-way ticket to Seattle just to visit a friend and clear my head. No plan, no job lined up, just a deep knowing that I was meant for something more.
What I thought would be a temporary escape turned into the most powerful pivot of my life. I rebuilt everything personally and professionally. I went all in on my agency, Adira Digital. I started creating content again, landed brand deals, built an incredible community of women through HERMVMT, and found a relationship rooted in real love and support.
It wasn’t easy. There were moments of doubt, of starting over with nothing but belief in myself and a vision. But I stayed focused, stayed consistent, and chose to create a life that felt good on my terms.
That experience taught me that resilience isn’t just about surviving hard things it’s about choosing to rise, to reimagine your life, and to build something beautiful from the ground up. And now I get to help other women do the same through content, community, and strategy.
