We recently connected with Elise Claes and have shared our conversation below.
Elise, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Getting that first client is always an exciting milestone. Can you talk to us about how you got your first customer who wasn’t a friend, family, or acquaintance?
It was completely by accident!
I was following a business owner/spiritual influencer for quite some time and was starting my business as a side hustle as a freelancer in finance. One day this person, Tine, asked in her stories who could figure out the meaning of dreams. Without using internet, because it only said things that weren’t fully truthful.
So me as a symbolism enthousiast, responded with… “Oh I can help you with this, I’ve done this since I was like 12 years old. Let’s try it!”
So that day I listened to her dream and responded with what the brain is trying to communicate here to her. In a psychological and spiritual matter.
She was blown away by this and said I should do this for money. So she paid me for that! HA!
After a few months I changed the freelancer to spiritual coach and rolled with that for a few years.
That was fun!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Talking about who I am or how I present myself is always a difficult question. Because as who? As me behind the scenes? As me in my business? I could tell you my astrology signs or talk about my human design chart or MBTI type I am, but does that really tell who I am? Let’s start small, I’m a neurodivergent woman from Belgium that can literally reflect the sun and moon. (It’s a party trick)
I got into my industry in spirituality, as Light of Delphi, because of the dreamanalysis I did and it made an uproar in my community. I was an accountant with a special intrest in symbolism. And now I’m here, diving into spiritual practices and doing magic and alchemy on a daily basis. I also work 20 hours a week in finances and HR for a construction company, just because I like doing it and it brings in extra money.
My method has been a challenge to make right, but I feel after 4 years I finally got it. I work on a material, somatic, psychological (mental & emotional), spiritual and astral level. To bring my fellow burned out women back to sovereignty. Through different layers of self. I have a challenge and a VIP to do this. The challenge is the knowing what to hack and the VIP is going through it together.
Most women know intuitively where they are stuck, so we just untie that knot on all levels and then they just catapult into the right direction.
Some people forget either the different layers of Self and just focus on self-love. Which is actually just the energizer for life, but not how to break through challenges.
When I was close to burn out again, as a neurodivergent being it could be every day or every month. I did my method, and I was out of it and energized again within a few hours. This because I know where I was stuck and because I already do the work for a few years. So I know it works. I know insecurity and uncertainty is always something that holds me back. So I made some fall backs to help me get through those things and use it to my advantage.
Know what keeps you stuck and facilitate it. Which is easier said than done. But it will make sense when you do the thing.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
As someone that can be impulsive and stubborn at the same time, I had to pivot a lot because of failures/learnings in the past.
I had to switch from freelance finances to spiritual teachings, because the people asked me to.
I had to switch between ego and victim mindset to reflection towards myself, because I was blaming and hurting people.
I had to switch homes multiple times because my self expression and identity grew because of my business. And it didn’t fit in the environment I was settled in.
I learned I had to find a new job after the pandemic crisis stopped, because I didn’t have social support anymore from the government, just the day I had to put down my sick dog.
My house-mate, was also having a traumatizing time with being pregnant, foreign husband, sickness and bankrupsy.
I found the job in accounting to support us both. Got sick again and got fired.
Had no income, had to find a new job, leaned on someone that is now my partner. And picked back up my business. Which is when I came up with the method. And then I found a part time job.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I always had the luck that I am good at making friends, and made an effort to keeping them. Because I know a community helps me through everything I’m going through.
When I see people struggle, the first thing I ask about are friends & family. Are they in the right environment, are they connecting with the right people at that time.
Without my friends, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
When my house-mate was in trouble and I was in grieving, I had to do some surviving. I made offers out of nothing, I had 3 jobs, I connected to different communities in a place where I was foreign. So we had food, people to look after us, ways to make money (taking on different jobs). I finished my psychology studies at that time as well.
It’s a very heavy story, but not mine to tell. But I was in the storm with her, my house-mate/mother of my godchild. So I had to be the thing she needed the most. I wasn’t perfect, but I made it work. And that’s still my biggest show of resilience.
