We recently connected with Elisabeth Caraballo and have shared our conversation below.
Elisabeth , appreciate you joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
Acting: I’ve taken lots of acting classes from theater to on-camera. I also watch a lot of television shows and movies to study the craft of other actors’ work.
Travel Pass Media: Almost 10 years ago I started out following and learning from other travel bloggers. Then from there I started my own travel blog, became a travel influencer, started an online travel/lifestyle magazine, and of course traveling. This whole process has now led me to create Travel Pass Media.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I took my first acting classes while living in Miami, Florida at The Acting School of South Florida. From there I decided to finish off my senior year on campus at Fort Hays State University (I had been pursuing my degree online). While I was there I took theater, directing classes, and an acting workshop. I acted in 5 one act plays and was in our University showcase. During that time I decided I was pursuing an acting career after I graduated.
But, that summer after I graduated I came across all these amazing travel blogs. Then I got the travel itch real bad and decided that was what I wanted to do. So, I decided to put acting on hold and started a travel blog called Kansas Girl Adventures. Which led me to create an online travel/lifestyle magazine. With both publications I connected with travelers from all over the world, traveled to awesome places, and worked with many amazing brands and businesses.
I don’t regret choosing a travel career over acting as at that time I just didn’t think it was possible to pursue both. I’m glad I focused on travel and those publications because I’ve learned and grown so much as a person and creative. But, I’m ready to get back into acting, launch Travel Pass Media, and other passion projects I have in the works.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I hope to inspire others to get out there and pursue all of their passions and to travel and explore the world.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Being able to have creative freedom, authentic self-expression, and have an impact on others.
