We recently connected with Elijah Selleck and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Elijah, thanks for joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Well this all started back when I was a baby when my parents always had music around. They would sing to my sister and me every night before bed. When I got alittle older like elementary school, I played the radio with my boom box while I slept. Most of my days I have music playing on my car, tv, phone, at home bored, out with friends really anywhere. It’s been a big roll in my life, but there was one year in high school I picked up music production in 10th grade. I went to a studio every spring break in Northern VA for a few years and worked with a professional artist. That’s how I discovered Logic Pro X a musical program, and I’v took off since.

Elijah, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
To start I’m just a 24 year old man creating my craft in music production. I usually just sit at home working on tracks or working at my job 5 days a week. I have a son who will turn 2 this year and it’s amazing. That’s who pushes me with music even harder now that he’s with me.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Through my years I’v met plenty of collaborators but never seemed to work out with any of them. But even with people falling off with me I just stick to doing my own thing. I have covers, logo’s, with my self made image of who I am and want to be seen as in music. People know my artist name and have heard my beats, still needing more to checkout my sound to really blow.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
I don’t have advice at this time given that I have no clientele.
