Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Eli Singh. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Eli, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission the drives your brand?
Our mission is to inspire people to chase their dreams. The three of us (JC, Travis, and myself) all have a shared goal of racing cars professionally. We want to be an example to people that you can jump into a field with no experience, and go achieve your dreams against all odds.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
The three of us have been obsessed with cars and racing for as long as we could hold a controller in our hands. Throughout the years as our friendship developed, we started to settle on creating a racing team and going after this ambitious dream.
In august of 2017, we went to Gorman Ridge Rally in central California. While we were there we made a decision we would buy a racecar together and get to work. 2 and a half months later, we were driving a $1000 1995 Honda Civic hatchback 48 miles home at 11 at night to my house.
This sparked our passion for content creation and entertainment. We are building a racing team focused on content creation and inspiring people to chase after their dreams, automotive or not..
We are most proud of building a team and a vision that people are glued to. We’ve brought in multiple people to come along the journey with us on the team, growing from 3 of us to a team of 8 and counting.
For people just discovering us, we want them to know we are going to the finish line, regardless of how long it takes. In today’s world, there are many starters, but few finishers. This will be a long, but real, authentic journey people can relate to and gravitate towards, and we welcome anyone and everyone. We hope to see you on our journey in our social media’s, and maybe out on track!
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
The beauty of racing is every race weekend is a story of resilience. Sometimes, it’s resilience in prep. Last minute scrambles to get mechanical issues settled, late nights doing wiring jobs, and sleepless nights before races since we forgot to pick up the trailer until midnight. Some weekends, our resilience comes out on track. Parts falling off, flat tires, rushed repair jobs lying on our back in loose dirt. Racing is resilience, and it’s something we are learning to thrive in.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Something in a creative project that is easy to lose is consistency. The thing we are the most proud of is for the last 5 years, we meet up every Monday and we haven’t missed more than 15. Some Mondays we get a lot done, and some Mondays we drain the beer fridge. But over the last 5 years, not a single Monday has been wasted. Which brings us to the most important business secret of ours: Keep the beer fridge stocked!
