We recently connected with Elexus Hunter and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Elexus thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?
Let E. Tell It A & E Media, has continued to surprise me with the longevities of our extended services for the future. Stay tuned! This brand initially was given to me in a dream back in 2017. I wasn’t sure what to do with it but to trust it. Coming full circle in terms of career goals and realigning our brand objectives for upcoming projects and new initiatives. The art of producing indie projects are the most essential part of the brand placement. Continuing to improve on business needs for more collaborative opportunities and exposure to other parallel interests. This was worth my risk to explore this dream goal by leaving the traditional way to infuse life into my goals. The name kept showing up in dreams, in conversations about how to introduce this name in a creative manner. Let E Tell is Elexus (my way) of introducing stories creatively with the right intention to make people understand narratives that are not their own. Something is always worth telling through our lens for all viewers to see.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I would consider myself still in the mix pool of entrepreneurs that are breaking through into their own lanes—My demands for my specific audience or market interests are still unfolding within the art and entertainment community. I’ve been tackling this profit idea: Let E Tell It—since 2017, readjusting and figuring out how to extend myself pass the writer and producer space. What more can I provide to my audience that can help us evolve creatively. It’s a working progress. People such as Isa Rae extended the idea of making your dreams come true…No need to wait no longer. That’s me, too! My brand is consist of all things creatively. Our end goal is to have ALL collaborative work together be an asset to our communities and our brand needs.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The mission driving me to be a creative person has a lot to do with the hunger for maximizing my goals—it’s my contribution to the entertainment world. Growing up, Art and entertainment was and remains my warm blanket to my soul purpose. To entertain, be the voice of reason and provide solutions to domestic and global interests. Through my work it has inspiration from my life and the lives that can connect or understand outside their norms. The art and entertainment world is universally accepted as it would be to music. It brings different perspectives together.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding part of my creative life, is having the safe space to be myself in everything I produce. Openly and freely with expressing ideas with like-minded souls, to carry through the concept from start to finish. It’s the passion that is unbearably contagious—it’s a true way for producing great ideas with dope people, who understands the level of sacrifice and patience with your end goal.
