Starting my Instagram page, shehzad_and_mamaa, was born out of my own journey as a mother. Like many new parents, I was navigating a world of baby care, trying to find the best tips, tricks, and products to make motherhood smoother. I realized that the little things I was learning along the way—whether it was a parenting hack or a discovery about baby products—could actually help other parents who might be feeling overwhelmed, just like I once was.

The idea sparked when I found myself frequently answering questions from friends and family about baby care and development. I realized there was a need for a platform where I could share real, practical advice. That’s when the vision for shehzad_and_mamaa began to take shape.

Hello, I’m Eleshiya Jacob, the creator of Shehzad_and_mamaa! I’m a proud mom, content creator, and certified child nutritionist. On my page, I share my journey of motherhood, along with parenting hacks, baby care tips, and advice for new parents who are figuring things out—just like I did.

I started this page because, without a mother or sister to guide me, I had to learn everything on my own. Now, I use my experiences to help other parents by offering practical, real-life advice. From baby development details to tips for making life with little ones a bit easier, my goal is to empower parents to feel confident and supported.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

One of the moments in my journey as a mother that truly tested my resilience was when Shehzad was just a few months old. I found myself navigating the overwhelming world of newborn care entirely on my own. The sleepless nights were tough, but there was one day when everything seemed to go wrong—Shehzad wasn’t sleeping well, I was exhausted, and nothing I tried seemed to work.

I vividly remember sitting there, holding him in my arms, feeling completely drained and questioning if I was doing anything right. I didn’t have that support system that so many new moms rely on. But in that moment, something shifted. I realized that I had to be my own source of strength, not just for myself, but for my baby too.

Instead of giving in to the exhaustion, I took a deep breath, did some research, and tried new techniques to soothe Shehzad. Slowly, things started to improve. That night, I promised myself that no matter how tough things got, I wouldn’t give up. I became my own guide, learning through trial and error, building resilience with every challenge that came my way.

That experience inspired me to start Shehzad_and_mamaa. I knew there were other parents out there who, like me, didn’t have all the answers or the support they needed. I wanted to create a space where I could share what I had learned and offer the encouragement that I wished I had during those difficult early days. Today, looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come—and grateful that I can now use my journey to help other parents build their own resilience.
