We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Eleonora Oleotto. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Eleonora below.
Eleonora, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
I was volunteering in a Buddhist center in Italy.
I had just came out from a personal painful experience thanks to photography. I took some pictures of myself to see all my pain and to transform it.
At the Buddhist center I met a woman, she was a psychologist. She saw my pictures and she wanted me to photograph her to help her transform the fear she had to show a scar in the chest that she had since she was operated at the heart when she was 10 years old. Thanks to the meditation I could see the images I had to shoot with her. We did this special shooting session in the morning. There was complete silence. Forty-five minutes in which she had to open herself to life again. And she did it!
The pictures where the witness of the process and at the end she was feeling beautifully.
Being of service to others by using my talents: this is one of the most meaningful experiences I can live in my life.
Thanks to this woman I got a big gift back: at that precise moment I understood that therapeutic photography was one of my gifts that I could offer to help others.

Eleonora, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I use photography, meditation, creative writing and coaching to help people see themselves and to transform issues into power.
I offer one-to-one sessions customized for each of my clients. During the sessions I combine all the techniques together to let the client experience a powerful change inside him/herself. Photography is the witness of the process and will reveal how the present situation is, which is the desired future of the client and how he/her will get there. In my website www.exploringemotions.net there’s a video that shows the one-to-one sessions in nature.
I also offer group workshops that can be customized according to clients special needs and I collaborate with other artists or professionals, creating unique experiences by combining our special talents together, and focusing especially on emotions, personal growth and spirituality in order to change the present situation and to start the journey to abundance in life.
I also create pictures for client’s special needs: for example pictures that will bring calm in an office where there are conflicts between colleagues, or pictures that can support a person who is living a difficult moment in his/her life, or pictures that can bring Light and Power to a place where it’s needed, and so on…
Pictures are energy and can change the vibrational frequency of the environment they are in.
On my side I’m continuously working on new photographic projects, creating special exhibitions (also with other artists) and conferences where I share my work and my life journey.
I’m writing my first book and also my first movie.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Absolutely yes!!!
As much as I grow personally and spiritually my deep desire is to share all my knowledge with the people so that they can be inspired by my journey and thrive in their own life!
How do I do it? Through my art, the book and the movie that I’m writing, through my images and also sharing my life journey in conferences and events.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Connecting with people and sharing our story and life learning is priceless to me!
Being an artist is such an honor to me. With my art, by sharing my story with others, I can share my feelings and also my vulnerability as a human being. This creates a powerful communication with the people and helps them to open their heart and not to feel afraid to share their emotions.
We are here to help each other, we are here to serve. And when we share our pain and our vulnerability, we also create empathy, true connections and therefore Peace.
This is the most rewarding aspect of being an artist: creating connection, helping others, sharing empathy and compassion and therefore Peace with my art.
