Elena, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?

I should start with saying that I don’t really wish I had started my creative career sooner or later. I believe I started it just at the right time. When I got understanding of life, myself and my role in life. But to get to that point I had to go through all my previous experiences. To learn some important lessons. And now, when my creative career just starts, I appreciate my creativity even more and treat it with respect. Something that I didn’t do before. The only thing I wish I did is to pay attention to the signs life was sending my way trying to direct me in the right direction but I was so obsessed with the idea of building a corporate career (that obsession was based on my fears that I didn’t even realize I had) that I moved in absolutely opposite direction. Therefore, I now try to be very aware of what comes my way, how I feel about it and treat everyone and everything with kindness and respect. Because you never know where God is going to take you and who is going to walk that path with you.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My creative journey started with music. I am a musician. I make and produce music. As I say, music is in my veins. No matter what I do in life, it always brings me back to music. My music is very different. It tells stories and every time it’s a different story. It usually depends on my mood, my surrounding or life circumstances. Sometimes I hear people say “your music feels like your soul is talking”. I would say it’s true. That was the reason why I started thinking about creating videos to my music or just simply short videos with a message – I just wanted to tell stories. The form didn’t actually matter. That’s why I would say that the thing that sets me apart from others is that I look beyond things. I always go deep into the root and bring to attention things that we don’t usually pay attention to. I also do photography. I would say, like music, it’s also in my veins. I just love capturing life moments and then put them together. Another way of telling stories.

Music, videos, photos – I’ve been doing this all my life. I just never paid attention to that. People around me pointed out those skills but I ignored that. Only when life put me through some tough challenges and I was given lots of time to think about my life, I finally saw that I am all about sound and visuals. I had to overcome my ego and stop living life that wasn’t mine. Become attentive to that inner voice inside and have courage to follow it.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

It’s a good question! I had to and still unlearn to think, be guided by mind. Instead, I am learning to feel more, to live with my heart open. This is the only way to succeed in this life. And it’s not that easy as it sounds. The problem of modern people is that we are very stuck in our minds. We think that life that our mind pictures inside our head is real. When none of that is real. The only real life is what you feel.

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?

I honestly don’t see any future behind all this digitalization and living in some virtual reality. Because there is no soul there. Things that are created in this physical world with your hands, voice and other real resources will always be in demand and more successful. People love to touch, smell, try on things, because those things make you feel something. And NFTs? They can’t give you that.
